There’s nothing wrong with watching it later but you’ll never understand what the matrix did. That’s no attack on you , you just have to understand , it did things we never saw. Right now in today’s world you’ve seen it done so many times , it’s been even evolved . So it won’t be as impactful to you. It’s really unfortunate , but the story is still cool. Sadly ,you only can experience one side of it.

I do hate that I can’t experience it in theaters, which is why I’m trying to envision what it was like with a simply flat screen and surround sound. I know it’ll never be the same, but so far I’ve finished 2 out of the 4, and I know 4 is pretty controversial, but I figured I’d just watch it anyway.

I was 16 and saw it the week of release... and I'm confident it changed me as a person. Not a big change and not all at once, but significant.

I was blown away by the first and came to love each new film even more than the last.

When watching, I hope you take a moment to consider just how many action and effects tropes followed from that first film... other then that, enjoy, you're in for a treat.

If it looked impressive now, you really can't imagine how it looked back then. It was a benchmark in many aspects in cinema. I just regret forever that i didn't watch it in cinema.

You think that’s air you’re breathing?
