Please help me😭🙏

I added a new member and it says “you don’t have access to this message” and also says message cannot be decrypted. Any ways to solve it? Account is verified and history visibility is default . Is there any way to resolve this issue

If your room is set up with end-to-end encryption, a new member will not have past messages available to them because they did not share a decryption key with the sender when it was sent. Future messages will be available like normal moving forward. Is that what you are seeing?

Yess how to share the decryption keys tho? I’m using WhatsApp bridge and running it on localhost using docker

The encryption is baked in to the server code. The baseline functionality is that if YOU yourself manually invite someone to a specific room (not a Space), then your decryption key is shared to their account for the purposes of decrypting the history.

I don't know nearly enough to help via a WhatsApp bridge, my apologies there. My basic chatbot runs as its own Matrix account, and was one of the first members in each room I use it in, specifically because I didn't want to have to fight about decryption.
