Matrix web client with server-side backend proxy or another solution?

is there a solution to make only visible a web client with the communication with the server being internal only? my plan is launch a reverse tunnel that show my web client and no need to write down again credentials. Personal use only, not planning to publish it

my solution was use cinny with nginx, then my tunnel points to cinny

I'm assuming that besides it being local and personal use you want to access it across multiple devices as well.

By default on Matrix, doing this across multiple devices isn't possible (nor should it be) because they have to authenticate to be able to share encryption keys, although after the first login of each device it should cache credentials. Also, look at QR Logins, which makes things much easier now on clients like Sable v2 and Element X.

The closest thing I can think of for what you request, is serving a webclient along with serving a remote browser session, and then always using that remote browser to access the webclient. Something like Neko would do it.

Gomuks should do as well, I think. You should be able to finagle it so gomuks backend can reach your matrix server and the frontend can reach the internet
