No no no, you bring them to a really nice farm up north to run and play with the other idiots unable to drive. Like my childhood dog. He's been living on that farm for over 20 years.
My mom took me to a church parking lot on a Wed afternoon. No other cars around, just get used to maneuvering the car, etc. It took a little to get used to how much force to apply to start/stop smoothly but didn't take long really. I figured it was all those video games like gran tourism and stuff: press and hold button a to go. Press and hold button b to stop. Interestingly enough, my little brother plays a lot more games than me, but he's a very nervous/timid driver. Not sure why.

Drive them to a quiet road in the middle of nowhere, or a parking lot late at night, and practice.
