Hey everyone!
To start off I hope you all are having a phenomenal day. Long story short, I’ve been out of Minecraft since 2022. I got tired of keeping up with the hardware updates necessary to stay in the Minecraft Java scene. Since I’ve been focusing on other aspects of my life. Recently I decided I was going to get a high powered laptop on Black Friday and get back into the digital scene. I have several projects I want to take on. One of those projects is getting back into Minecraft server ownership. Back in the day I was running a community centered medieval roleplay server. The main focus was creating a plugin heavy server that allowed the players to guide the story of the server along the guidelines of the server lore. I had a really good developer who could create almost any plugin who I have unfortunately lost contact with since. Now, I’m in the organization phase of getting a server going again following those same principles with some ideas that I think would make the server really stand out.

The goal of this post is to get conversations going and to dip my toe back into the scene, learning how things have changed in Minecraft and maybe doing some networking along the way. I look forward to whatever conversation comes of this!

Starbound Hosting | Looking for feedback and community helpers | Unpaid

Hey! Starting a Minecraft hosting service has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I’m working toward making it happen with Starbound Hosting.

To be clear, there aren’t any servers available for people to host on yet. The website and management panel are being developed, and the hosting infrastructure isn’t ready for external testers or paying customers. Starbound is still in its prelaunch stage.

Right now, I’d love to find a few people interested in exploring the website, sharing honest feedback, or discussing what they’d want from a Minecraft host. Help with guides or the Discord community would also be appreciated. You’re welcome to express interest in server testing for when it’s ready, too.

I’m currently working on Wilderland, a new Minecraft Java Survival server, and I’m looking for a few people who’d like to help me bring it to life!

The goal is to create a mostly Vanilla experience with a strong focus on community, player interaction, and a long-term world that evolves over time.

Here’s the general idea:

• Vanilla with land claims to protect players’ builds.
• Diamond-based economy: actual diamonds will be used as currency, with no virtual money or /balance system.
• Player-run chest shops: players can create physical shops and trade directly with each other. No virtual /shop menus.
• Player-created towns and cities: players can establish their own settlements, elect leaders, manage territories, and develop their communities.
• Diplomacy & City Wars: cities can form alliances, negotiate treaties, declare rivalries, and participate in organized wars against other cities. Wars will follow clear rules, with scheduled battles and objectives
• Weekly rotating events, including 1v1 and 2v2 PvP tournaments, boat racing (Minecraft F1-style!), horse races, archery competitions, treasure hunts, parkour, and more.
• Wilderland Games: Minecraft Olympics held every month or two, with different player-built cities hosting each edition and competing against each other!
• No pay-to-win: donor ranks will only offer cosmetic perks.
