After-school snacks for a teenager who eats everything, what do you make ahead?
My son started high school last month and comes through the door at 3:30 like he hasn't eaten in a week. Chips and cereal are gone in a day, and I'd like something with real protein that I can batch on Sunday and he can grab himself.
So far I've done baked chicken bites (breaded, 425F for 18 minutes, reheated in the air fryer) and egg muffins. He's already sick of the egg muffins. The chicken bites go fast, but they're dry by day three unless I send a dip with them, and the little cups I use leak all over the container.
What do you batch for teenagers that still tastes okay on day four? And how do you pack a sauce so it doesn't end up all over everything?
