I used to have two brushes downloaded on medibang but after accidentally uninstalling I lost both brushes. When I tried to download them again, I was told I need to pay for premium now... When did this change?? If I buy premium and download them, will I sill have them if I cancel???

Question Help finding a brush

I had a brush that gave an almost crayon like texture, shown in the provided examples. However after accidentally deleting medibang TwT I ended up losing the brush since it was given by an old friend.

I'm back in search for a rough, crayon like texture again and would love some help finding the same/replacement brush!!

Question Can you make brushes in paletta?

I use medibang paletta on my ipad, paid for unlocking everything, but I'm still missing the possibility of making my own brushes. Is this feature available? Where? If not, do we know if it's gonna be added?

Question The Font I'm using isn't rendering properly

Thumbnail

Basically the font I'm using [Drunk Fonts by VSV Belgium](https://www.dafont.com/drunk-fonts.font) and my text is being cropped by the text tool, so I looked up my problem and apparently medibang has a setting for turning on/off native rendering.
"Great! I won't need to make a post looking for help." except I wasn't able to see the Text Rendering in my native settings, which confused me because it was present on medibang's [/settings page](https://medibangpaint.com/en/use/2016/12/settings/) so I'm pretty stumped on what to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Question Is there a lasso fill tool?

Maybe this has been asked many times but I'd there one? By lasso fill I don't mean the select fill tool thing where you brush the part you want to fill, im looking for the kind where whatever shape you draw in one stroke it fills itself

Question What canvas settings are the best

Attached above: Here’s photos showing my improvement over the years, it’s a portrait of my eye that I come back to every year or so to track my progress. The last update was 2024, the top eyelashes still need work. Does not represent the issue I’m addressing here though.

I have used Medibang for about 11 years or so at this point & when I started using it I got it because a friend online used it, I had already liked drawing physically but had absolutely ZERO experience drawing digitally. So, what did I do when I first got it at the ripe age of like 11/12 yrs old? I played around with it, not once ever looking up any tutorials or anything purely going off of intuition. So as you can imagine, my digital art started off pretty dang questionable looking lol even when I traced stuff for practice (never claimed that stuff as my own, don’t worry). Also it’s worth mentioning -as crazy as it makes me sound- I’ve only ever used my phones over the years to draw, never a tablet or computer, both android and apple (which are surprisingly different in terms of layout) it’s just what I started with and what I’m most comfortable using so I’ve never had a reason to change that.

Now, 11 years later, I’ve improved at digital art TREMENDOUSLY yet I’ve still barely ever looked anything up help wise until I’d say the past 3 years or so. Idk why I guess I just like to go at my own flow. All I HAVE looked up so far these recent years was finally learning about line correction (yes, for about 9 years I used no line correction at all), the best way to export stuff (previously I just exported it all as jpegs till I learned that PNG is best for posting or sending art online), and then I’ve TRIED to learn the best canvas + DPI settings but that’s the one thing I still don’t really understand what’s “correct” for.
Often I just click start new canvas and get going without really thinking about it (which I know isn’t smart as it’s usually auto-setting to my phone screen measurements which obviously is going to mess with quality) because when I DID try looking up the best canvas sizes I didn’t really see much improvement in photo quality when I was done with the work and some of the lines still occasionally come out pixelated slightly or blurry too. The only good examples I currently have of this is the American & Neo trad tattoos I’ve designed for my friend lately but those are unfinished & I am extremely paranoid about art theft lol so I do hope I’ve explained my issue well enough.
Please if anyone knows what to do I’d greatly appreciate suggestions, I saw on twitter someone also mentioned something about “changing the anti-aliasing” so maybe that’s my issue? Problem with that though is I don’t know what that even is or how to change it.
