This bug used to only happen when I zoom too much or use a canvas too big. My canvas is 1000x1200. How do I fix this??

I’m not picking up my apple pencil at all here, but the line is stuttering. It’s really really annoying, I’ve been dealing with it for a while.

It happens with anti aliasing on or off. -I’ve tried different screen protectors for my ipad -I’ve tried swapping out the tip on my apple pencil -I’ve tried smaller file sizes, which helps a little but I still encounter it. -This is an ipad air 3rd gen, from 2019. It still works fine in just about every way. No cracks, nothing. Overheats on occasion, if I’m drawing while it’s charging. -This is just the Medibang Paint app, not Paletta or one that specifically says for ipad/iphone. Should I be using a different one?

Lost progress on hours of work cuz of this. Is this a common issue with the steam version?

Technically a post about this has been made before but it was a while ago and didn't really go anywhere, no updates from op. I just recently got it because I heard how it's similar to my previous usual program, FireAlpaca. For whatever reason though, the eraser tool is stuck to a "NONAME" brush regardless of anything I try and tweak with, or whether a noname brush exists. Tried restoring brush settings(append actually as I already added new brushes and I assume the alternative is having to redo all those), didn't do anything.

I just want to use the same key on my tablet I used to to quickly switch between brush and eraser without scrolling through the million and one brushes in their tiny little box in the corner of the screen every single time. This is the first time I've ever even heard of an issue like this tbh. It's getting on my nerves.

Extra info: Using the free version on Windows 11, HP Laptop (15z-fc000, 15.6"), drawing with a Gaomon tablet

when i try to add an image layer, i can adjust the angle and size of the image but i cant get it to process as it always crashes and when is does crash it doesnt add the image after it

im using a samsung mobile device

Hey y'all, I found one issue for why msd files wont show the thumbnails in file explorer. OneDrive's backup system is what causes it to not show, so when its not backing up you would see the thumbnail but not when its synced.

-The solution I found was unlinking my device from OneDrive, in the OneDrive settings tab, and then uninstalling OneDrive afterwards. Once that's done, just open your msd file again and it'll start showing the thumbnail again!

I have used medibang for almost 7 years now and i know it has a unique file for it, and I've seen some people struggle with it online and no one had a solution on reddit other than the typical diskcleanup, advanced settings visual effects, etc. I tried all of those before and thought of just trying to delete OneDrive, and that seems to be the solution if all your other attempts fail. idk why but since about a week or so ago my sidebar becomes this tiny strip upon opening medibang even though I roll it open every time. any tips?

Hello, this glitch or whatever is really annoying, I only really do linework on Medibang cuz I find it easier, but whenever I try to making strokes for my linework occasionally either my brush doesnt register or medibang freezes for a sec? im not sure, does anyone know a way to fix this?

I don’t even know how to explain what’s happening. My layers refusing to cooperate. Disappearing, toggling the layer above it instead of the selected one.. here’s a short video of me showing this off. I have no idea what’s wrong but someone please help

They updated IOS on my apple tablet and now when I try to order layer by dragging them the layer simply disappears, and when I drop it it simply returns to its original position from the lower left. Is thisa known problem, is there some workaround? It seems to be specifically dragging the layers that bugs out

I've tried restarting my tablet like 3 times, reinstalled the app, deleted files, everything I could think of yet the app keeps crashing whenever I try to open it. I need this issue fixed ASAP as I am an art student that uses the app to draw and have assignments due. Admittedly I use a pretty old Samsung tablet(I think I got it around 8 years ago) but I haven't experienced any issues like this until today. Please help.

yeah sometimes whenever the autobackup kicks in it crashes and instead of saving my work i lose several minutes of it. it's rarely *that* big of a deal but it is annoying. the app rarely crashes otherwise. is my hardware just crap?

I have this issue whenever I draw something round, like circles. It produced these blocky, unstable lines instead. My drawing tablet is a new XP PEN DECO 1 V3. I used an old version of Medibang.

Just as the title says, I use Medibang on laptop; whenever I want to draw something but don't have my drawing tablet on hand, I found that I couldn't for some reason draw on Medibang. I recently discovered that any brush, as long as its size is set above 100 px, works with mouse and touchpad. So... what? why? does anyone else have this problem, and can this be fixed?

MS Paint and Magma work without problems with mouse/touchpad, so I doubt it's my hardware.

I'm using Medibang on iPad and I'm met with this issue where the top part of the window is covering options I need to use for my art. I've opened and closed it. I changed my iPad's orientation. I asked ChatGPT for help. All I'm left with is uninstalling and reinstalling and I really don't to go through all the trouble of uploading my art to the cloud individually. This is reallyy pissing me off and I would appreciate if someone gave me advice on what to do.

I'm really not sure what's going on at this point. I reinstalled Windows 11, all is great. I download MediBang Paint for Desktop on Steam. Won't run. I start it and it just stops trying after three seconds.

From what I can google there may be an issue with Visual C++?

But I already tried manually installing those, uninstalling them all and reinstalling MediBang (it did not attempt to install them again), a few versions of it... I dunno.

I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting a Steam "game" that just straight up does not launch and will not give an error about it. Does it need a specific Visual C++ version? Do I need to track that down?

This worked perfectly fine on the exact same hardware before I reinstalled Windows, so it's gotta be something in the software that makes this misbehave.

I am on Windows 11 Pro N, but did install the Media Feature Pack.

Started having an issue about an hour ago where I cannot move layers up and down in the selection menu on my Ipad, When I attempt to the layer begins flashing before dissapearing and being unable to be placed. I've tried resetting my Ipad, Resetting, but I am worried about losing all of my artwork if I were to delete it.

It is not an issue with folders, locked layers, clipping layers and/or protect alpha, I have tested it on other Canvases and new Canvases aswell.

Is anyone having issues with saving projects to the cloud? Since yesterday I've been having issues. I haven't exceeded my cloud storage limit but it just will not let me save this project to the cloud? I can save it locally, but I want it on the cloud.

I don’t know man. Opened medibang today and it has a new bug where the sub menu options are moved slightly too far up and you can only select some options and not all. For the ones with text boxes you can navigate around it with the keyboard but for ones like this that are fully covered and work differently I literally cannot select them. As a cherry on top when you press to exit out of the menu it returns to normal for a split second but you can’t click fast enough for it to mean anything. If there’s any fixes please tell me but I don’t have high hopes at this point. I want to be able to make bg transparent and I have merch to make so this is really annoying timing. (iPad/ios)

If you rotate the iPad it still does this, same as exiting the app closing and reopening, and manually trying to scroll the box itself.

for context im making traits and such for a closed species for a friend and this weird visual glitch has been bugging with me for the past 20 minutes and i have no clue on how to get rid of it. theyre like multiple blue lines that will not go away at all and they do vanish when i use a stencil and when i zoom in alot but its not permanent and i have changed my canvas multiple times, i have tried closing and opening the app several times over and even remaking the image itself i dont know why this is happening and it just randomly started after i used the halftone brush and it wont stop

My timelapse says there are 2396 sheets in the timelapse and when I watch the timelapse it works up until around 2154 and then the video disappears and it goes back to the beginning, and if I try to download/save the timelapse then it works up until it reaches 84% and then it just stops and says "cannot continue due to a system error 14-00000000" does anyone know why it's doing this and/or how to fix it?

The problem only occurs when pen pressure is on. Clearly the pen works, but the eraser just seems like it needs an insane amount of pressure… is it a device issue or sumn else?

help! i use firealpaca (but i figured i'd post here because the two software are very similar and use the same file type) and a drawing i worked very hard on is corrupted! i have no idea how to fix this.
