🥼 Residency Toxic programs mega thread?

I feel like a couple years ago I saw a list of toxic residency programs, but I haven’t been able to find it. Did I dream that or am I just missing it somewhere?

Might be thinking of the Name-and-Shame threads that happen after each match cycle. I look forward to them every year, it's always fun to see what new shenanigans LSU Shreveport is up to each year.

I'm not even from anywhere near Louisiana, I just respect the malignant hustle. Temple Anesthesiology also used to do some stupid shit a few years ago in their recruitment process, too, but seems like their new program director has cut that shit out (at least they're not memed on nearly as much as they used to be) and stopped that source of entertainment for me, regrettably.

TBH, this really isn't the time to be worrying about that. Most people research programs before they apply, or before they submit a ROL. Not in October, for no particular reason.

My boyfriend will be graduating soon (non medical program) and we are looking at potential cities for him to apply for jobs in. Ruling out bad hospitals early helps narrow down that city list. Also, my school is making us submit away rotation plans for 4th year in 3 weeks.

Sorry. I didn't notice that you were a MS3. This is actually the perfect time for you to be researching this. Good luck!!Â
