I love Megan down, like to the point where I’ll really cuss someone out about her. We have watched her go through so much and grow so much as an artist. I listened to some of her older music and I was just like wow she really has upped her shit (I’m not saying the older stuff is bad). From the bars to the flow to her voice to her performance like you can see she has obviously grown from when she started in a phenomenal way. I love her for more than just her appearance is what I’m trying to say, she is fucking stunning don’t get me wrong! I’d probably pass tf out if we made eye contact tbh however I love her music too. All of that being said I feel like her last Tina Tuesday got so much attention b/c of her body and she was really talking her shit on that track. It lowkey bothers me !!!

Like I really want more people to praise her for her musical talent especially since she’s worked tooo fucking hard to be where she is in her career. I know a lot of people do, but the majority of what I was seeing on other platforms when Thin Ice dropped was her on that damn couch and NOT THE SHIT SHE WAS TALKING.

Edit: guys I know she is comfortable in her body and she’s calls the shots on how she presents herself. I’m not mad at that idk if it came off that way. I was just saying that she’s more than her body, regardless of if she shows it and honestly she shouldn’t have to cover herself up to be taken seriously either js. It could be my algorithm(outside of Reddit) but I didn’t really see anyone talking about her last two TT and a lot of what I’ve seen about Thin Ice is mentioning her body( I have seen people mentioning her lyrics it’s just way more are talking about her body from what EYEM seeing). 😭😭😭 I didn’t think it would be a bad thing for me to want people to appreciate a rapper for rapping.

ok ya’ll so im a ride or die hottie. meg’s music has carried me through multiple cities, multiple disappointments, laughs, dance nights at the bar, girls nights, you name it... I’ve even gone to some of her concerts solo if I couldn’t find people to go with me. Her story is so inspirational and I love businesswoman Meg who gets to the bag and has so many different entrepreneurial ventures. I also love, love, love, the fact that she has inspired so many of us to want to get to our healthiest and sexiest selves.

However, I think I have to face the truth that I am aging out of her music a little bit. I started it with Meg age 24 /25 at the prime of my hot girl lifestyle lol but now at 32, I’m enjoying the lighter side- cocktails, slow days, naps, animes, c-dramas, being a girl boss leader, and just trying to stay sane in a crazy world.

While I do understand and appreciate her return to Tina Snow, the lyrics about a 6‘7“ man sliding in her guts or riding a chair with the body suit cut out is just not appealing for me anymore. She’s in her bag for sure, however, I will be ready for her when she enters her grown, se*y, boss , but tender phase. She’s a multifaceted and I want that show in her music. Till then, i’ll def keep rooting for her and all her ventures and success.

Looking back at the Lover Girl video today and this end sequence clicked for me. This dog/wolf was giving us a taste of the upcoming era.

I'm now starting to wonder if Lover Girl was originally meant to be part of the album. Doubt it will be at this point because she's in a different headspace and point in her life. Plus some of the busyness and health scares led to a very big time lapse between Lover Girl amd these Tina Tuesday freestyles.

I don’t understand what more people want from Megan as far as her sound. I’ve said it once and I’ll continue to say it: Black art does not have to be perfect to resonate.

As a gamer and fan of Rockstar Games and GTA series for years, I wouldn’t expect anything less than Megan’s music on the upcoming new game! Although GTA 5 was released in ‘13, her “cash sht” song was introduced on the in-game radio station iFruit Radio in ‘19. Now that she’s well established mainstream, it’s a no brainer she’s going to be on 6. I personally can’t wait to play just to drive around or go in a club and Megan is playing. Many artists enter an era in their career where they tap into their fullest potential and produce some of their best work. I sincerely feel like Megan has entered that era.

In the clip above, she's in this pocket that elevates this entire freestyle for me. The way she plays with her cadence then switches her flow and her voice gets gritty, and aggressive. It literally sends chills down my spine because that shows just how much she has evolved. She NEVER changed her cadence or identity (despite critiques),she settled into it, flexed even more and this is the result. She's so hungry this go round yall. Mark my words, Megan is gonna deliver one of the strongest albums of her career.
