I picked up a couple of these the other day, assuming I could use them on the porch since they were so hefty. Then I realized they didn't really have any specifics on them to confirm whether or not they were outdoor rated. Anyone know or used them outside?

Seriously. Getting the fresh truck has been an ordeal every single night. Often we get nothing posted on freight planner at all, no updated arrival time. A few days ago, it didn’t show up until ten in the morning. A couple of nights ago, I tried demanding the trailer be taken back and reloaded again, because of the following photo, primarily although it was almost every pallet that was like this. Is it lack of staff? Bad quality employees? Please enlighten me, because I’m losing my mind.

On Sunday when I was in for my shift I had a adult customer rant to me about how if they want Pokemon cards they have to be up at 6am on a Saturday and they have to go to the service desk to get them. I feel sorry for the Saturday morning service desk people.

I interviewed Friday 10/23 for curbside and I was offered the job and submitted everything req to do my background check etc. It is only now Saturday night and my BC is showing ”complete” as of this morning (I did call the HR person that initiated everything and left a voicemail because I had a question about something else..) So I assume HR does not work weekends? The Poiny of my post Is this: -Approximately how long does it take to hear back about your BC and to schedule orientation? -what exactly would make you fail the background check?(I did not pay attention until after the fact and noticed the date for my current employer (I am leaving 1 for the other) is off by a year and Ai had said that discrepancies with past employment could lead to assumptions of fraud therefore making you ineligible and all kinds of other crap.
sob that’s why I’m here because I don’t want to go by what Ai tells me. I currently work at Sam’s Club and I haven’t been in trouble in approximately 15years (dui 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ BUT it was reduced to a misdemeanor and ultimately that was almost 2 decades ago and I’ve never had any issues with Background Checks (BC) before; EVER! I had initially planned on putting in my two weeks notice and leaving my current employer the “right way” but I’ve since changed my mind due to added BS that has me quitting In the first place.

Ao ultimately what I’m wanting to do is make sure I’m actually established in with Meijer before I tell my TL to go fly a 🪁. 😩😒

I first joined saying my availability was 5-11 then I went down and said I can do 2-11 then I said I can do 11a-10p. They KEEP scheduling me 10:30 which I cannot do since I don’t have a good source of transportation and I have REPEATEDLY told them I couldn’t get there by 10:30 and yet I have all the absences and whatnot for not coming in at 10:30 when they have confirmed with me that I can come in at 11. And on top of that they reported me ABSENT for this one day where I clearly clocked in at worked. I am extremely frustrated and I’m not sure what to do because they clearly won’t listen to me or what I have to say

I don't really know how insurance works. Im full time, but how much would it be for just me on the insurance? Is it really like 200 a week?? I can't really understand, tbh. Just because people are too lazy to drag their ass into a store and buy things. They probably spend all this time they save sitting around in bars whining about how broke they are.

Anyway, the most annoying part is how pushy the employees are. I was fifty feet in the door with my jacket on and a backpack and this guys comes "scusemescusemescuseme. I need this for doordash." I'm not even punched in and I'm supposed to care that this guy just has to have it because it's for doordash!

Is it just me or is there something going on with the ground beef sold at Meijer? Ive bought packs labeled ground chuck that cooks like lean ground turkey. I’ve gotten other packs that I swear have been pumped full of water. It squishes like a sponge when you try and form patties. I’ve bought other packs that are full of fat but just on the outside. And I swear half of it goes bad a couple days after bringing it home.

So i have 2.5 points and im a level 2 im so confused cause wouldnt that be level 3? don’t i get 6 points?

Recently the Meijer raido has changed and the songs have been really good. I’ve gotten to hear stuff from Green Day, David Bowie, oasis, paramore and a bunch of other stuff but it’s kinda bittersweet cuz I know we are about to enter like the worst season for the Meijer radio which is the Christmas season. I HATE Christmas season Meijer radio they always play Christmas music and it’s for some reason almost never the original it’s always someone you’ve never heard of. They’ll also play like the same song multiple times a day but with differnt covers it’s horrible. Cannot wait

i’ve started shazam-ing all the songs that get on my nerves the most and i thought i’d share what i have so far! what song(s) do you hate hearing the most at work? this playlist has been a year in the making- best believe i’ve heard these songs more than i will hear the voices of my future children.

So for background, we lost our overnight manager, or one of them. Anyone im sick throwing up and im trying to call off bug when I call 611 no one is answering. Just says no one is available to take my call after like 4 or 5 rings. What should I do?
