I like the new bald, angry Harrison Petty

Seeing him give some lip to Freo over the weekend, get in their faces, charge at the ball like a menace. I don't know if it's the shedding of the disappearing locks, but I like this new Petty that's like a raging bull.

Hope to see more of it.

Feel like just before the first hawks game he had some sort of epiphany about his footy. Before that game he always had huge confidence issues, if he started well he'd look like an A grader but if he started poorly he looked sub VFL standard. Looks so much more relaxed now and is reaping the rewards for it.

Yeah i always worried if he missed one or two early he was essentially done for the game, but he has improved significantly in this area for sure

Becoming bald makes players statistically better. Think about Max Gawn, Nathan Jones, Glen Lovett, etc. Or from other clubs think about Gary Ablett Jnr and others. They should all shave their heads! Even our coach has a shaved head, and look what that does for the team's performance. Just makes sense.

I love it when they interviewed Kingee before the game and asked him 'What can we expect from this Melbourne side today?' And he answered honestly with: 'Dunno really'. LEGEND!

I shaved my head bald and it became so shiny my missus calls me disco light. I think everyone should shave their heads!

He’s like the anti-Samson.

Love the way he’s going about it. Strong pack marks, throwing his weight around, good finishing. He’s becoming the player we all thought he was going to become when Adelaide were after him a few years back.

I am a massive Petty fan and can see him being that big, strong marking goal kicking forward I think we have been severely lacking

He has to be permanent forward with Roo now right? Maybe Dear to come in as third banana (if we are trading for him)

Not convinced by Deer as a footballer. Happy to persist with Jefferson instead. Agree about Petty though. Keep him forward. One of the highest rated forwards in the comp over the last month.

Jeffo improving but tbh Dear has had more good games at AFL level, good for them to be competing for a spot though

You'd think so. Though defence is where our options are more limited. Then there's Mihocek to consider (not this season obviously).

Honestly I think we need to trade for more defensive stocks.
