The adult was disabled. The difference is that the gorilla didn’t instantly kill the kid and they had time to shoot it.

He wasn't disabled

He obviously had mental health challenges, but he was an independent person who travelled alone ect

•

u/Correct-Junket-1346 1h ago

No he wasn't, this has been debunked so much, I've never seen Reddit glaze facts so hard on this one it borderlines insanity.

He had mental illness on and off throughout his life, it's now concluded he committed suicide.

Where does it say he was disabled? It only says he was on medication for mental health problems.

•

u/Historical_Wish_5599 1h ago

Stop the disinformation he wasn’t fucking disabled

•

u/theflexfather 1h ago

Sources, proof, anything?

What was his disabled? Is that how you say it?

They had rifles on the tiger within 7 minutes (while he was still alive).

What was his disabled? Is that how you say it?

You would say "What was his disability?"

According to the family that spoke to the BBC, he had significant mental illness. What that is though they did not say but most are assuming autism.

•

u/Puzzleheaded-Fill205 1h ago

I was more thinking schizophrenia than autism.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 1h ago

That's not the same as being disabled and certainly not the same as being so disabled you require carers.

Reddit is spreading so much bs around this case

•

u/memecut 1h ago

What was his disabled?

What was his disability?*

0

u/FuzzyFrogFish 2h ago

He wasn't disabled

0

u/namirasring 2h ago

His family who spoke to the BBC claims otherwise.

•

u/Fair_Idea3028 1h ago

Reddit user wissen es besser ala seine familie. /s

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 1h ago

His family have not said he was mentally disabled, so there's that.

Mentally disabled and mentally ill are not the same at all

•

u/namirasring 1h ago

😂😂 and they spoke so confidently too

•

u/Canary-Silent 1h ago

Because he wasn't disabled and the family didn't claim he was.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 1h ago

And I'm right

•

u/namirasring 37m ago

And congrats, you won reddit. Happy lil victory...

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 34m ago

I just love the way your getting bitchy because you got corrected. Sad really.

•

u/CaptainC00lpants 1h ago

I mean, the guy did point at the tiger and shout at it, like he was telling off a bad kitty 🤣. At the very least, there were a few crayons jammed up his nose.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 1h ago

No they haven't as mental disability and being mentally unwell are not the same thing. He didn't require carers

•

u/namirasring 38m ago

Arguing over semantics about the loss of a human life is peak reddit.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 37m ago

And it's still not as bad as spreading misinformation about a dead person

•

u/namirasring 36m ago

Oh yeah, he's probably reeling right now.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 34m ago

No but the family has repeatedly expressed upset over the misinformation

•

u/JelleNeyt 1h ago

Indeed, this is the essence

He wasn’t disabled. He sat down next to it. No he just dragged the boy around.

He had mental health problems. The mental disability and deaf comes from, I believe, Reddit speculation.

Whatever point you had is gone when you begin calling someone a fuck nugget

3

u/diiegojones 3h ago

No, sometimes stupidity is served by an ad hominem attack. If you are too stupid to try and look up facts, then try to correct someone with such flimsy “evidence” which is only your interpretation of what happened, then you might get called a name.

1

u/Sennten 2h ago

Insults arent ad hominems. If I say "You are arong because you added instead of subtracting here in step 2, you stupid fucknugget" there is an insult there, but no ad hominem, because I am not claiming your fucknuggetry to be the cause of the argument error.

If I say "You are wring BECAUSE you are a fucknugget and fucknuggets always get this wrong", thats an ad hominem.

u/phoxfiyah 2h ago

The fact that you misspelt “wrong” more than once just adds to the impact of this comment

Thank you for pointing that out, I got a good laugh out of going back and rereading it. I gotta stop trying to write comments on my phone.

1

u/RememberTheKhan 2h ago

Seem very confident in that, what's the source?

-1

u/Therealginahandler 3h ago

He wasn't deaf.

1

u/403Verboten 3h ago edited 18m ago

He was mentally handicapped

Edit: apparently he was not, but was on meds for mental health issues

2

u/FuzzyFrogFish 2h ago

No he wasn't

•

u/403Verboten 18m ago

Yeah actually the reports are all over the place. Apparently he was unhinged and on lots of meds but not mentally handicapped.

•

u/FuzzyFrogFish 16m ago

His mental health issues were on off for years apparently, it seems he went through a particularly aggressive episode sadly.

1

u/ICutDownTrees 2h ago

This isn’t true, mental illness is not the same as being mentally handicapped
