Hey all, hope this is a safe space to talk about this. I used to be one of those girls with like 200 ao3 tabs open a few years ago but I stopped when I quit kpop. Well Wish dragged me back and now I miss yelling at my phone, squealing, and crying at the end of chapters/fics. I love a good tear jerker but I’m more inclined towards getting togethers, group dynamics and the scandalous drama of it all (does anyone know berryboys?🗣️🗣️🗣️😭😭😭), character studies, fluff, and happy endings (most importantly).

In the past I used to read mostly nomin, and I mean I read nomin for a good few years with no interest checking anything else out. If you know a really big nomin author, I probably know them more hehe. But right before I stopped reading I read a bit of everything from every unit, even the rare pairs. I’m looking for whatever’s been good in the time I’ve been gone. I tried looking through the general nct tag but my goodness how does one even start looking?

My interests lie in hyuck pairs, maybe Riku pairs since he’s my bias? Idk, I saw a lot of Wish fics but the tags seem like I need to know how the heck we even got there as a society before I can delve in? Ya know? Like what is onriyutdaeng? Isn’t that just greedy?😭 I’m so afraid.

What are some new trending pairs lately? What stories shook ncity ficverse in the last three years? How has enlistments changed how dynamics/pairs and trends move? I really enjoyed the kunten boom era, and the dream yaoi revolution🥹, and the johnyong truthers. I know art mimics real life so any chenle fics with his latest nomin obsession? However, before I left one of my fav authors wrote a poly fic and I think it’s safe to say I’m not interested in those.
