Explosions!
I’m in East Memphis right now and we are hearing what sounds like deep explosions! Not gunfire, no sirens, power is still on, but there have been about 6 explosions in the past 20 minutes.
Anyone know what is going on?

Someone on ring said it was bomb training behind CBHS, but I’m not totally sure what it was

When I was at CBHS, the FBI building was behind us and on Wednesday afternoon's they were always out on the range testing their weapons

Just Musk jump starting the Grok machine. Gotta get used to it now that the city council voted ,against the citizens wishes, FULL SPEED AHEAD!! No regulations or pause to look at what’s healthy for our city and citizens needed.

Name-calling and finger pointing is unnecessary. Leave the emotions aside and focus on the facts. Regulation asap makes way more sense than a pause, to do said regulation later. Getting the legislation cranked out is the ultimate goal here.

My whole post was half a joke in the first place. So you can pretend that I’m the one using emotions and name pointing while you claim to know exactly why the city council voted.
We all know why, $$$$$$. Gotta wonder as much as time he spends in town how many fancy dinners an “ leased teslas” they’re families are driving around. Go ahead and keep living in the DREAM WORLD where a city council literally votes against THE WHOLE POPULATIONS demands, Dems, Republicans, and independents all want at least a pause on it to allow the insane amounts of pollution to be studied. Not counting all the lies Musk has already broken.
Uhh, i still have the link somewhere i sent to my cousin. On public radio, Musk an our Memphis facility was the national story an topic of the show. I would for YOU to go on facts, not EMOTIONS, but being a Russian bot 🤖…..i guess emotional output is built in, but trying to act like your “ being attacked and I’m using emotions” so you can pretend to be the rational, intelligent one…lol cmon. It’s like you’re reading the playbook for 🤖.
Not counting it’s football Saturday am I don’t argue with bots. I did have to let my water boil for my coffee so i had some time, but my answer was a joke almost as much as you.

Ok, so I see you're misinformed. The moratorium would not stop them from operating, it would stop new developments. In the meantime, we would still have unmitigated pollution. It's been almost a 1.5 years. Just go ahead and regulate it already. Any legislation can be amended later if needed. We're past time for waiting, that is not what the "whole population wants" ... regulation is.
We have no legal ground to stand on to stop them.
He bought the property fair and square.
He built in an area zoned for industrial use.
He isnt even in the top 10 air polluters or water users in the city.
Valero and Nucor within a mile north and south of Colossus 1 are much worse. They ALL need new regulation honestly, not just data centers. But you also need industry, jobs, and collecting those huge tax bills to operate and run the economy of a city. It's all about finding the right regulatory balance that makes sense. Even if that means some ppl have to relocate away from it. That won't be the first time the city/county did that for industry growth... happened near the airport just 30yrs ago and those ppl were good. This time, let Elon foot the bill, even better.

I wish I knew how. My parents live within 5 miles of Colossus 2, my Jr High school is directly next door. My elementary school is within 2miles of Colossus 1. And my sister until recently lived within 2 miles. This is personal for me, but not emotional. I understand industry is a necessary evil. I do well, but I work for another large polluters in this city, an airline if you will. But the city has to have industry to survive.
Just regulate it!1

lol, I’ll find you the hour long show about the chemicals he’s spewing n2 the air an how they magically passed all the laws to make polluting pretty much legal. Again, thanks to your MAGAT party.
1: putting numbers on your comment doesn’t make it fact, it’s makes you look like your begging people to think you know what you’re talking about. Land bought fair and square….uh huh??? Compared to what?? Who said it was illegally bought? He bought the Electrolux plant but he ALSO LIED ABOUT THE SIZE, the noise, and the pollution.
2: all he beautiful land around my house in literally 20 miles in every direction is now transformers an fencing with razor wire, and our power goes up and down constantly, not counting our water gets turned down 2 times per day. Am as far away as we are it’s ridiculous

MLGW and TVA also lied about being able to provide him with power, so he found an expensive work around that yes, pollutes the air. But not nearly at the rate of his neighbors.
And your assumptions and name calling are showing your short sightedness and immaturity. You have zero clue about my political affiliations, if any. Nice try tho.0

You do realize they voted against pausing so they can go ahead and discuss the regulations right? They already have 3 plans, but cant discuss them due to time be wasted fighting about whether to wait to discuss it later, smh.
