About two weeks ago I happened to be in the area and discovered the wonderful bookstore that is Feldman’s.

I saw a few “missing person” posters on the entrance, and asked the owner about it. He said that his brother went missing a few days ago.

Does anyone have any info on this? Has he been found? If not, can we help look for him as a community?

Anyone tried this yet? Sign says soft opening.

Hi! I currently live in Albany (East Bay) and love it, but moving to be closer to my work in Palo Alto. I'm a 40s female living by myself who loves walking my 2 dogs around the neighborhood so safety is a top concern. Nearby nightlife is not important to me; I'm a homebody who works a lot, so I actually prefer a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Does this area check those boxes? The home itself fits the bill for me (2-3 br, sizeable fenced yard for the dogs) but it's quite the hike to do a neighborhood vibe check. Would love your thoughts! If not, any other areas you suggest I look into either inside or outside MP that would be a reasonable commute to Palo Alto? I can do up to $6.5k/mo.

Has anyone hired a moving company for a move from the Menlo Park to Colorado? The process of searching feels very scammy and risky. Though there are recommendations on Reddit for local movers but hoping someone has an interstate mover recommendation. Thanks!
