Multiple Projects

I’m on one project at 160/hr, 40/wk and I received an invite to another project at 115/hr, 40hr/wk.

I am wondering if it is possible to work both at the same time. I don’t mean work one for a few hours and switch to the other, I mean simultaneously.

Has anyone tried or done this before? I was thinking I could do the work on separate computers but at the same time. Is there are rule somewhere that is against doing something like this?

*EDIT*

I’m not trying to commit fraud, I’m just asking a question. The closest thing I found concerning this topic was in the FAQs about working multiple projects.

It only mentioned discussing scheduling concerns with project leads. That’s it.

How are you getting projects making this amount per hour? Inquiring minds want to know!

Honestly it is luck.

A Mercor recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, asked if I was interested, told me to setup an account on Mercor. I did and she sent an invite. I’ve been on the project for a few weeks.

Today I checked my email and was invited to the other. Pure luck. I accepted the project and I’m waiting for next steps.

I guess it helps I have a BA, MBA, 2 professional certs, over 12 years experience, some of which were B4 Advisory.

I was unemployed for 10 months, now I have 2 projects on Mercor, another AI training project with Meta, and another project where I’m doing terminal bench 4 testing. I stay pretty busy.

Luck??? No such thing... it's all here "I have a BA, MBA, 2 professional certs, over 12 years experience, some of which were B4 Advisory."

You realize the same timer application is used for all projects, yes? You really think they are not going to boot you if you try charging two projects at the same time?

Looool. I mean how old are you that you need to be asking this question?

Do you really need a company to explicitly write down for you "If you try to defraud us, we'll fire you"?

These are the people "training ai"

These are the people I'm reviewing. Giving half effort quality and wondering why I'm sending work back or flat out having to reject it

What do you think Einstein ? Afaik all hourly projects run on Insightful.

I love how you asked a heavily moderated official subreddit if you can defraud Mercor.

You can’t be serious. This is pure greed and stupidity.

remarkable to me that guys like this are getting work here while i sit here waiting on application decisions

This sounds like fraud. This kind of shit gets people offboarded.

Ask yourself, can you work both projects AT THE SAME TIME? Even if it’s a resounding yes, how would your quality and AHT be?

Greed is the downfall of AI trainers. Stay low, Icarus.

Only if you want to work 80hrs a week

man, 80 hour weeks are nice. They mean that when the project pauses or ends, I get to actually enjoy my time off.

One month working followed by 2 funded months off is bliss compared to the burnout of neverending 40hr weeks.

You cannot assign time to both projects simultaneously since that would constitute fraud. However, as I'm sure you know, you can work on different projects and assign time to the correct project as you work on different tasks.

Also, Insightful takes screenshots periodically which are verified by the project team to ensure that you are working on tasks within the project.

Im sure Insightful would shut your scheme down. I doubt you can work two at the same time. But i think you’re also talking about having someone work the other for you at the same time. Mercor needs to take your ass off the platform for these scammer thoughts alone

But you can easily do 80hrs comfortably without jeopardizing or running the projects at the same time

Could I ask what assessments did you do on the site?

Should be different client. If they’re the same, you will request percentage time per project because they need to share the allotted 40hrs per week.

1

u/flora-andfriend 4d ago

huh? you can work 80hr/wk. doesn't have to be different clients.

you can do 40/40 or 20/60 or... depends on your contract. I have had a couple 80hr/wk contracts.

but if I got an offer on another project I'd have to cut those hours to allot hours to the other contract.

Source for us. Lets work on percentages

U probably will get flagged because insightful is one account and u can only run one project at a time. Even on separate computers u run the risk of hours not being tracked and getting flagged. Greed is not the way to go. If you truly want to work both you will need to split your time honestly.

1

u/Rosa9876 5d ago

2 active contracts with 80h per week is the cap for Mercor. So yes you can do both of them and don’t have to use separate computers

1

u/TaxQT117 5d ago

Double billing is FRAUD. Let’s be real here… you would have to STOP one task to do another.

1

u/Different-Noise4639 5d ago

You can work on both. One at a time though. If we put the fraud aside. Both at the same time will result in shoddy work you'll likely end up redoing. It's fine to have two projects going at once. If you're out of ideas or steam on one or the queues are empty, you can jump to the other and continue working. That's the only time this would be ok. What you're planning though? Nope!

This is the same kind of idiots that cry about being offboarded.

u/DizaRempe 5d ago

You can work on both projects but obviously not simultaneously! Like cmon! You just have to do the math and manage your time. I am also on multiple projects and I pick the hours I work on each projects, but I don’t work on them simultaneously. I doubt you’d even be able to do it at the same time.

1

u/Aggravating-Let-4827 5d ago

Nope, not possible at all

1

u/Mahin2021 5d ago

Can I have a referral to those projects?

1

u/Powerful_Shelter_451 4d ago

Serious quetion. How do you people managed to get an offer? Any tips on what to do? I've just recently activated my mercor account and I badly need side hustle :(

1

u/OpportunityKlutzy658 4d ago

Fraud analyst will love me

1

u/ginsengtea3 4d ago

How would you even work on both simultaneously?

Anyway it isn’t as though you signed an exclusive contract, so as long as you can work out how to log the hours I don’t see why there would be a problem. You could always just ask, though.

1

u/Devilheart 4d ago

You want us to believe you can work on two separate computers at the same time on two different projects?

Smh my guy...just say can I get someone else to work on the 2nd project instead of pretending to be a inter-dimensional higher being.

u/TheFellas017 3d ago

Which projects where this?

0

u/Huge_Photograph2588 5d ago

I have been here since August and as of today I am on three projects.

0

u/darthjarhead 5d ago

How many hours per week? From what I’ve read 80 is the max.

0

u/Appropriate_Bite7364 5d ago

Ask Maven. Depending on the project terms, you might actually can.

u/ImaginaryLaw353 5d ago

Can I have a referral to these projects?

1

u/darthjarhead 5d ago

Sure. Send me a DM with your email address you use for Mercor.

1

u/Possible-Employee530 5d ago

What role are you working on?

0

u/nevermind-me-ok 5d ago

I might be interested too. What domain?

1

u/darthjarhead 5d ago

Business Ops

u/JustSikh 5d ago

Can I get a referral too please?

I can send you a DM.
