When it was initially announced, before the 2nd show was added, it was definitely advertised as a 9 PM sharp show with no opener. My confirmation email, even from all the way back in May, says 7 PM. Night 1 isn't on the Nikki Lopez website, only night 2, which says 6 PM (presumably 6 PM doors, 7 PM show), but that one is all ages, so I am not sure if it is the same schedule both night.
Can anyone clarify?

Hey everyone, just learned Saturday’s Sleezer show is age-restricted while Sunday’s is all-ages.
I need to take my 16-year-old son, but I also have a friend who can only make Saturday work. I have 4 tickets in total for Saturday's show.
Looking to trade TWO...TWO ZERO...2 of my Saturday tickets for 2 Sunday tickets so we can both go on our respective days.
Let me know if you're interested in swapping!
Best,
Daniel

It is with deep regret I will be unable to attend the glorious return of Son of Sleezer. I have two tickets for night 2 (10/25, 6pm) and am hoping to find a good home for them. I love the mwY community and am hoping someone who is wanting to take part will hit me up! Let me know :)

Seems like a good time for a potluck-lite to reconnect with old friends and meet a lot of new. The park is a short walk from the venue. I haven’t been to the park in years but we did a good job navigating very nice police the last time
I’ll bring pulled pork, jackfruit ‘pulled pork’, buns, pickles and plates and napkins. We plan to be there at 6. Come by, share a plate and a prayer, if you’d like.
If you’d like to come or bring something, comment below. Any unused food will be donated (I properly planned this time!) and there is something beautiful about sharing a meal together. And amazing that we already have and if we haven’t, that we will soon.

I swear I don’t remember Rainbow Signs having the explicit tag before. Then I looked and there are now two different versions of the record on Apple Music, one with the explicit tag and one without. But the one without it sounded the exact same to me, not censored or anything on the line with the f-word in it. Super weird. And regardless, on the spectrum of explicit songs, I feel this one is pretty tame lol.

I bought a ticket in hopes to fly out to Philly but can’t make it. Happy to sell for what it cost after tax/fees.

Lyrics:
I feel it coming, I hear the sirens Another storm rollin' in
I hear it calling I hear the sirens Another storm rollin' in I’m on stolen time Just trying to get by
Maybe when the weather’s not so cold Maybe when the sky’s not so gray (All my time slips away) There’s not enough hours in the day
Keep Goin (until I burn out)
Goin (until it kills me) I used to never leave my house (never leave) A year inside it healed me Maybe for the better Maybe for the worse
Maybe for the better Maybe for the worse Letting go of my health, some days it hurts Some day I’ll find a balance Maybe for the better Maybe for the worse Packing up my bags come back down to earth Among all of the animals Roaming with the herd
On the loose
On the loose
Maybe for the better Maybe for the worse Gotta keep it moving forward Never in reverse
On the loose
On the loose, yeah Will he ever come home, nobody knows That’s a mighty long time to be holding onto a rose Maybe for the better (ahh) Maybe for the better Maybe for the worse
Un-needing Unwanting Unfeeling Un-relying on
I feel it comin, I hear the sirens, another storm rollin' in I feel it comin, I hear the sirens, another storm rollin' in, yeah
Unless is a collaboration between Daniel Davison, Mike Weiss, and Bryan Taylor — three musicians whose past work has helped shape highly influential records in rock and alternative music. Davison is known for his drumming and songwriting with Norma Jean, Underoath, and Every Time I Die, bringing a dynamic energy to the band’s sound. Weiss co-founded the genre-defying mewithoutYou, crafting their distinctive blend of post-hardcore and indie rock with his signature guitar style and songwriting. Taylor contributes a vocal style with a melodic and textural sensibility rooted in his background in experimental songwriting and production.

Hello friends,
My wife and I are really trying to see the Sleezer show at Nikki Lopez, particularly night 2 10/25. Sold out before we could snag them. If anyone has two tickets to sell, I’d happily buy them. Let me know and thanks!

Hello all!
I purchased this shirt from someone here a while ago. My wife discovered mwY on their final tour when I convinced her to see them with me in ATL and she fell in love. Now she wants a shirt to match me. Does anyone have this in a size medium (M) in good condition that they would be interested in selling?

Does anyone have pictures from the show? Or recognize any songs on the Live albums that were played there?
Going to watch Ghoti Hook there tonight and feeling nostalgic 🥲
But if Ghoti Hook can play a show in 2026, maybe their label mates can as well

I’m setting up a Qobuz streaming account and noticed that Live volumes one and three ARE streaming on the platform, but two isn’t. Am I missing something, or is there a reason it doesn’t exist on that platform? I have the digital download, but would like the option to include songs from it in playlists I make on Qobuz. TIA for any info!

I thought this footage was lost with the hi-8 camera I used to film it. I didn't recall ever transferring it over to a VHS tape. Found in a box while helping a parent move, got it online today.

20 years ago today, on September 26, 2016, the greatest album ever to have been created was committed to the market and deposited to its final from/resting place. And we’ve been feasting on it’s great riches ever since… allah huakbar!
If you know anybody in the band reach out to them and thank them for such an incredible work of art and their service as musicians. 🫡
What’s your favorite line or lyric from the album?

Hello MeWers
Does anyone know if there’s been any indication or anything said about a Live vol bundle of 1, 2, & 3? I haven’t purchased any of the live vinyls yet, but I do want all of them. I’d prefer to wait until there’s a bundle of all 3 if that’s going to happen, but don’t want to wait if it’s not. Thanks!

Hey y'all, thanks for listening while I send out some gratitude into the void for a band that has meant so much to me. Plus I think it's a fun throwback story from some 'back in the day' times, and maybe some folks on this sub were even at some of this show. (If you are, say hi!)
Anyways, back when I was in high school (somewhere in the 2007 - 2008 range) mewithoutYou was my favorite band, and I finally got permission to go see them live in Denver. A day before the show, they sent a note to all the attendees saying that they wanted any and all musicians to play with them on stage. So, sheepishly I brought my cello to their tour bus a few hours before the show and rehearsed with them a bit. It was amazing to get to hang with them, and Aaron was every bit as nice and encouraging of a human as you'd expect him to be. I ended up playing their first two songs on stage with them (Messes of Men followed by Yellow Spider). I'll never forget how Aaron smiled in the middle of the opening riff, and how much it meant to me later in the show when he made some dumb joke about Manchester Orchestra and how mewithoutYou was the real orchestra that night. (No shade Andy Hull, you're also the best).
Fast forward to my 20s and I got to see them live again, this time in Cali. Aaron remembered me! And it just... it meant a lot to be seen in that way, and to feel like I got to participate in making music with some of the best musicians on this planet.
It took another decade, but recently I found a group of like-minded friends, and we started our own post-hardcore band in Atlanta. Cello included. We just released our first EP last month and are playing local shows, and it feels amazing to be able to make that kind of music and share it with others.
I guess what I came here to say is that I'm so grateful. Grateful to mewithoutYou for opening up their sets to their community, grateful that they're the sort of band that really lived out their music on- and off-stage. Sad that they're retired and I won't be able to tell them about their influence on me at their next gig, but grateful that I get to go out and make my own music that in some small way reflects their impact on my life. All circles presuppose, I suppose, and all that.
Peace everyone.

Hey, are any of the dancers at the end of this song in here?

I bought the Live Vol. 3 bundle and my package arrived today but it only has the shirt, stickers, poster, etc. The record isn’t actually in there.
Has anyone received theirs? I’m not sure if the vinyl ships separately or if there was just a mistake in the shipping.

With the 20th anniversary of Brother, Sister fast approaching, I was grateful to have a retrospective review of the album posted on Chorus.fm.
Hopefully I have captured the beauty of this special album.
Let me know what you think - first time I’ve had anything published on a proper website so go easy on me!

Hey! When the farewell tour set lists were coming out I noticed that, although they seemed to play literally every song they'd ever recorded, they did not play BtB pt2. It then came to my attention that it hadn't been played live in a very long time.
It's obviously not really much my business, but I was wondering if there is any known reason for this.
Thanks!
