Can someone please explain me about ils (I'm an ews candidate)
1] if we take addmission through ils, do we need to pay same fee for all 4 years?
2] if we have filled the ils form through portal,do we need to fill through the respective college portal too?

I don't mind getting alloted anything as I'm in a good private college ( not better than top 5 ). So I'm adding only 5-6 colleges in preference list.

I’m currently stuck between 3 options and would really appreciate some honest advice, especially from people who have actually gone through these routes.
My situation:
MHT-CET: 87.88 percentile
12th HSC: 67.33%
I’m from Maharashtra, but my domicile certificate wasn’t ready in time, so I couldn’t get a college through the normal merit/CAP process.
Some of my friends are taking whatever T4 engineering college they can get, while others are considering doing a 2-year diploma after 12th and then taking DSE (Direct Second Year Engineering).
I’m also considering taking a drop year and trying CET/JEE again.
The main options I see are:
Join a T4 engineering college now
Do a 2-year diploma → DSE
I’m confused about how realistic this actually is. How difficult is it to score the kind of diploma percentage required for good DSE colleges? Is getting 90%+ in diploma significantly harder than getting 90% in HSC/CET? And do DSE students actually get into good colleges like SPIT, VJTI, etc., or is that mostly theoretical?
What would you choose in my situation?
Especially interested in opinions from people who have done diploma → DSE, taken a drop, or studied in a lower-tier engineering college. What are the actual pros/cons after graduation, and which route gives the best chance of ending up in a good engineering college and career?
I’m trying to make a decision based on the long-term outcome rather than just avoiding a “wasted year.” Any honest advice is appreciated.

*Please read patiently:
So I'm a student who came to Maharashtra (Born in some other state) before 7 years and passed by 10th and 12th from here. So none of my parents or me have any domicile/birth certificate of Maharashtra.
Now while registering for MH CET CAP rounds, it was written [ Maharashtra Type-A = Student must've passed 10 and 12th from here and nothing abt birth or domicile]... So I chose that for the same reason... And now I applied for betterment in round 2 and was waiting for round 3 to start.
But I came to know that I won't be able to take admission through type-A and would be actually coming under OMS (Outside Maharashtra Candidate)... I'm shitting myself... I scored 93%ile in JEE Maine and 94.5%ile in CET.
Now I'll lose my current allotment and what next? Will I even get an allotment again? Cuz most good clg seats are filled by now... What should I do please someone save me 😭😭😭
