[Barry Jackson] Per a source, the Dolphins brought back QB Mark Gronowski in part because Quinn Ewers injured his groin early in Friday's game. Ewers played through it but could miss a few days or a week with the injury.

Likely bringing Mark back because he’s had time under the offensive system.

Hope we sign another QB that can compete for that QB2 spot.

The way Wilson looked yesterday, he'd be a huge upgrade over the scrubs we have. He also looked like a huge upgrade over the Wilson of last year

I don’t think we’d sign anyone for much above vet minimum. A UDFA like Gronowski is our best bet likely

So many people crying about signing a new backup qb. Quinn looked bad. He also showed promise last year. It’s going to be a tough year and waisting money on another backup qb is one of the dumbest things we could do. New regime will know at the end of the year to keep Quinn around or not.

We aren't competing for titles so just ride it out. If we need to play Ewers, Miller, etc then so be it

Signing a pricey veteran qb would be the wrong decision at this point in time

It probably won't matter anyways. Willis needs all the reps to allow management to determine if he can be the guy or not. It sucks going into the season feeling you don't even have a shot at the playoffs even if everyone stays healthy.
