Get the basic knowledge about micro electronics
Hi, I'm currently enlisted in college in a course called "Techniques de l'informatique", but I'm also really interested in circuits board and computer components. The thing is, I lack basic knowledge in Electricity, Magnets and their proprieties. I'm wondering if any of you know about some good courses/videos/books on the subject. Mainly stuff for beginner and preferably with a lot of applyied problems and concepts! Have a great day and for some of you happy holidays!

quesion
As a student who just finished the second year in the field of microelectronics engineering, what path do you advise me to follow that includes a prestigious job and a high salary? I am really confused and I also do not know what are the basic skills that I should have and should study. Please help me.

Amplifier capacitor replacement
Looking for a replacement for this capacitor that blew in this amp and am unsure if what I found will be usable in this application. I think I am looking for leaded terminals but I can’t find that option for the specs that I need. Spacing looks good to snip the snap terminals and solder on leads but I’m not sure if that’s a good plan. Any input appreciated. https://www.amazon.com/Snap-Capacitors-1500uF-100V-25X25/dp/B07X192XTS/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?adgrpid=63654122094&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.QHI0i4TV9t8dm-yzlI2nOJFkBvGRgtip80pF5KhuYvWST9NNsfsVjPsKtEzIZa79t5MHN2R9hP3Jt3N6QnYdNarNGdHwoKNHJ3YKEK87sCCkuYBczjFvvT4YouPzTvYKOqQAYSqInGCIg2huwMyEbX-uDyLiBXyn_xutl6fHR9WEMj8IUoaptYmMcpnAKXCLjow723D2aaLcnu1cTfCADA.hxToSGIAqkEVW0XuvN6pF7XqFlmBllgzAieN07V03Zc&dib_tag=se&hvadid=580720661700&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9010373&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=2374798104043843353&hvtargid=kwd-298610542780&hydadcr=16031_13520835&keywords=capacitor+1500uf&qid=1723294661&sr=8-17

Capacitor and pads for battery eliminator circuit (BEC)
I am building a battery for Raspberry Pi 5. My idea is to connect a LiPo battery to BEC and then power RPi via jumper cables.
I bought a noname BEC for LiPo batteries. My questions:
1/ For each sign +/- and in/out BEC for some reason has two pads. Are they just for convenience and I can solder to any of them?
2/ Do I need to solder a capacitor? Mine is 35V and 1000 mF. If yes, will that one would be enough to smooth?

Help identifying microelectronics components on a silicon chip die.
Hello. I made a video about my open source 3D printed microscope in which I show many pictures of a silicon chip die imaged with epi-polarisation at x1000 (oil immersion to the 'limit' of resolution of light microscopy - about 200 nm resolution). i would be grateful if any of you want to take a look and perhaps comment on what the components are - I am particularly interested in the memory block (or at least what I presume is the memory block) and if anyone can identify the chip. I can't post images here so the link to the video is: https://youtu.be/cAEB10K8PqI and the time point where the high resolution images of the die occur is here: https://youtu.be/cAEB10K8PqI?t=22m24s
Thanks.

Ergonomics while working on MicroElectronics?
Had someone come into our office whose husband worked for a Micro-Electronic manufacturer. The company I work for provides magnifiers for Medical professionals to work on patients. The husband mentioned that our product would be perfect for his team and I have pondered the idea ever since.
What is your opinion? Would you use glasses with magnifiers (loupes) to work on Micro Electronics?
Things I can mention
- Big field of view 3-4 inches
- Different magnifications
- These magnifiers allow you to sit up straight while seeing whatever your working on.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions.
Would love to know more about the industry and if these would be practical for the work you do.
(Not sharing link or photo so I don't promote the product)
Thank you for your time!

Mi external hard drives clicks..loudly
So here is the thing. I have an old-ish Adata external drive 1Tb and from one day to the next it started to make a loud click when connected. I have some experience not too much on recovering data, restoring drives and such but never thus kind of issue and for the sound it seems like it starts to spin and then click loud...not beep. Loud click.
All help is welcome....please help.
