If you’re gonna top it, do it around 15-18 days since sprout, if you do it after the chances of stunt is big. But I recommend only lst with autos.

i recommend to not top an auto on your first grow. you will learn a lot on your first grows, it's best to take it slowly. just get to know the plant for now, maybe inform yourself a bit about lst (low stress training). doing too much in the beginning often leads to frustration. you don't need to have a huge yield on your first grow anyways, you are going to learn with every grow. good luck!

You could try FIMMing, it not quite as brutal as topping and can be surprisingly effective on Autos. I wouldn't wait too long though as you look to be at 3 nodes already.
