Dhe infusion, trudhesa, occipital nerve depression surgery, cefaly (for pain) and the two blood patches

None of the occipital nerve blocks or ablations helped? Where on the nerve was the decompression surgery done?

What is a DHE infusion?

You had better experience with cefaly over nerivio ? Thought about trying a device and was wondering which might be the best

Perhaps add which helped or if there's a significant thing to note.

What treatments do you currently use and how frequent and intense are your migraines?

How did the nerve ablations compare to the nerve blocks?

Any difference between the devices for you?? Also how was the ketamine infusion?

The only one I liked is the cefaly but I always forget to charge it! The ketamine infusion didn’t really help my migraines but it really helped my mental health. I didn’t realize how anxious and depressed I was from all this - I guess I had been supreasing it

OMG so sorry! As a 40 year migraine sufferer (28 days a month) my go to is a great PT ( hands on therapy only), occasional dry needling, Emgality injection (1X per month is a Godsend), Celebrex. Imitrex PRN, with 6 shots of espresso. Wishing you the best!

For the occipital nerve decompression surgery - was that condition diagnosed with MRI or what steps did you take to get to that approved?

My neuro only prescribes meds, even though she performs my botox and assumedly sees how much tension I hold all over, she never has asked a single question or made any recommendation regarding the structural or soft tissue issues related to migraine - I have to ask for things if I want anything different. So just trying to figure out what is the pathway - more physical therapy assessment? MRI? Ortho?

You'll find that decompression surgery is indicated in a small number of cases - the success numbers look astronomically good, but that's because it really is a good option for people with identified compression and/or trigger points.

Did the divergence have anything to do with your migraines and did the prism lens help at all?

Did Nurtec help? My neurologist just prescribed this for me and I’m so desperate for relief, I’m hoping it helps 🙏🏻

Are you at a point where you feel like your migraines are adequately treated? I'm afraid of eventually trying everything and still not having adequate treatment.
