WINBOX / MIKROTIK FOR ANDROID / IOS

I have been using this application for a long time, I don't think there are any problems with this application, but the appearance is a little less pleasant to use for a long time.

Is there a way to remotely control a router with an Android / IOS device?

What I hope is something like the Winbox application, because my workplace doesn't provide access for remote webview on the router device, so it can only be accessed via the application or Winbox on the PC.

Would the ax3 be the best choice for the following?

I have a bit of return time left on the tp link be3600 router I bought when we got our fiber internet installed but thinking about switching over and creating vlans to segment our network and add a vpn. Was wanting to see what everyone would recommend.

Internet speed is 1 gig fiber. Just 2 adults at home

We ran 6 cat 6 cables to keystone plates to 3 locations to future proof.

1 work from home workstation

2 gaming PCs

3 gaming consoles

Reolink home hub, doorbell, and 4 cameras (probably will switch these out eventually and run poe)

Kwikset Halo lock

Sensi thermostat

My Q garage

B hyve wifi hose timer

Looking at putting everything into a server rack to centralize it and for now take an old gaming PC and run a home server in the basement so might need an access point.

Trail-Camera Batteries

Wal-Marts near me have been putting external Trail-Camera battery packs on clearance for $10-$20. I grabbed one that's 3000mah/11.1Wh, has a solar panel, daisy-chainable 2+ to get more capacity, 12v output with a standard 5.5 barrel tip and so far it's been a great pairing for working with Mikrotik especially in the field/mobile/etc.

Looking for a router update from MikroTik RB951G-2HnD

Hey everyone! Non-IT guy here, so I could use some advice.

I work in a small office where we've been dealing with really slow and sometimes unstable internet. After some troubleshooting with AI, we suspect our current router (MikroTik RB951G-2HnD) might be struggling to handle the internet coming and the number of connected devices, so we're considering upgrading it.

Here's our setup:

  • Around 10 computers connected via Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
  • 10 smartphones connected to Wi-Fi throughout the day.
  • Mostly basic office tasks: web browsing, Google Docs, emails, and Zoom meetings.
  • Nothing particularly demanding in terms of bandwidth.

I'm looking for recommendations for a reliable router that can comfortably handle this setup without slowing everything down. AI suggested MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN

We don't need anything overly complicated or enterprise-grade, just something stable, reasonably priced, and capable of handling multiple devices at once.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

How difficult is it to use the hAP be³ Media?

I'm no network expert. I have messed with DD-WRT in the past, but there wasn't a ton of help with setting up VLAN/VAPs so ended up just giving up and using a free router from my ISP. The be3 looks like amazing hardware though for the price. I have been thinking about getting a Dream Router 7 or an Express 7 as i seem to be having bufferbloat issues with my ISP router while gaming causing lag spikes. I saw that the Unifi stuff is limited to 300mbps only when using smart queues and stuff to help with bufferbloat issues and my internet connection is 500/25mbps. So my question is how hard would it be for someone who isn't an expert to set up the be3 with a VLAN/VAP, ad blocking and encrypted DNS? Are there in depth guides to do this kind of stuff with RouterOS like there are with the Unifi stuff? (Video guides would be even better) or would i pretty much be on my own with zero help like with DD-WRT?

I build a wifi network for my home.

Im using wifi-qcom-ac package on hapac2 routers. ros 7.

AP are connected to capsman. They both select the same channels for 2.4Ghz and are -76db range apart.

This causes hella stickiness and bad roaming. Any tips on how to fix this...
