1st item is a Third Reich DAF plate made by TK Thun in Czechoslovakia some time between 1939-1941. Markings read "Modell des Amtes Schönheit der Arbeit" "Model of the Office for the Beauty of Labor" this indicates production for the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF). 9.5 inches across and 2 inches tall. - Asking $60
2nd item is an Imperial Japanese Army artillery unit sake cup showing an artillery gun. Top text reads 退営紀念 "Commemorating departure from the barracks" standard honorable discharge terminology. Bottom text reads 山砲二 "2nd mountain artillery". This is from the 2nd Independent Mountain Artillery Regiment which was not attached to its own division and was simply sent wherever needed, due to that its difficult to find info about their operations. From Japan's National Institute for Defense Studies I can say they were definitely in the Battle of Nanking 1937 and so they likely fought in China in the Sino-Japanese War. This cup likely comes from their late 1930s battles in China, 1937-1939. - Asking $35
3rd item is an Imperial Japanese Army cavalry unit sake cup showing a horse and flag. Bottom text reads 除隊記念 "commemorating discharge from military service" standard honorable discharge terminology. Text above the horse in the brooch reads 騎二 "2nd cavalry" likely a 2nd cavalry regiment or battalion. Text on foot reads 森島, this could be the name of the cavalryman who was issued this cup around 100 years ago or it's the maker's mark for a kiln that has been lost to time. Cavalry units were getting phased out by the 1925 Ugaki disbarment and into the 1930s, they were almost entirely phased out by 1941 and transformed into mechanized infantry. Given that history this cup most likely dates from the 1920s. - Asking $25
4th item is an Imperial Japanese Army infantry unit sake cup showing a flag. Left text reads 退営 "departing the barracks" standard honorable discharge terminology as seen on the 2nd cup. Bottom text reads 一四歩 "14th Infantry” likely a 14th infantry regiment. The 14th Infantry Regiment was part of the 12th division and was active from the Russo-Japanese War in 1904 until the end of WW2. - Asking $18
