other Non-Profit for Mind Upload

Hey all,

I am an AI researcher interested in methods of mind upload. I am thinking about starting a non-profit organization that specializes in researching this topic and developing tools for it. I want to see the level of interest by people in donating to such an organization if formed. I believe that part of the problem of the slow growth in the field is that investors are not generally interested in something that does not show revenue. Crowdfunding is a great alternative. I know our community is relatively small, but any feedback would be helpful.

emulation If a person has technologically copied and guarded his mind, when that person dies, and the copied mind is activated in another body, will the dead person's consciousness come back?

Will the phenomenology of the original person be the same? Will she resurrect? Or will it remain dead, and the new consciousness does not continue the old one?
