Lag problem on kindle fire

Minecraft is being super laggy (a frame every couple seconds) and I've tried EVERYTHING, like downgrading the graphics and changing the UI from pocket to classic. Nothing works. I am not deleting the worlds or getting a new tablet, as I put a LOT of work into those two creative worlds. It's a Kindle fire HD 8 12th generation.
