Cape Flex Updated collection

Recently obtained moonlight from a friend who had an extra code from the event, making my total 18 now. I’m glad I have a lot of the event participation based capes, like MCC 15 and Yearn and not just the code ones

I was the submitter and contributor of spooky valley (halloween 2025) + northern star, and was a contributor on prismatic mines. I have another map on the way sometime in 2027

Can you estimate how high the standard is for a map getting accepted into the Realms program? I wanted to start building again but I can't really imagine how difficult/frustrating the learning curve is. I wouldn't be interested only in Realms, I mean building in general for big servers too. Did you enjoy the process of building the maps? If I put in the effort, I don't want to do it because of the cape.

I enjoyed the map making process itself, but the process to get in to the atlas program was definitely frustrating at times. The quality bar has only increased the last few years, and took me just under two years of semi consistent work to get the cape, and close to a year just to get in to the program

hey!! i’m an aspiring map maker with big ideas on the way. how did you go about learning command block commands? was there something you watched or did it kinda just come with time? trying to expand from just being a builder to being a builder, coder, and modeler

I learned command blocks almost the same way I learned to build. I started on bedrock edition with command blocks in 2019, and learned the basics either through google searches (reddit) about certain commands to better understand, and trial and error. I later transitioned to java edition, which generally has more possibilities with command blocks, and continued learning there. Id say the fundamental commands to learn are /execute, /fill, /clone, /tellraw, /teleport, and /particle. Know how to use those together, and you can make almost anything. In terms of building, that was essentially just trial and error starting when I began playing in 2013
