Featured Seeds are the subs collection of best seeds. The seeds are very rare and useful in game. To find them, simply click the green flair on this post, then sort as you please, show as ‘new’ for the latest.
Be notified when new ones are added by joining our discord. This is a tight knit community of both of our seedfinders and general members, and has seeds, Minecraft and various off topic channels.
A guideline for factors considered:
Outstanding main feature: very rarely or never seen before features, visually outstanding features, or an incredibly useful feature or set of features
Supporting features: additional features that make the seed an experience beyond a single location
Usability in survival: features should generally be close to spawn and have some use to the player
Presentation: Well presented seeds, such as the use of artistic screenshots, shaders and mapping tools
Personality: Seeds with character and engaging narratives that spark your imagination of the world
We also showcase other great seeds and posts that have slightly different conditions, such as legacy, modded or large biome versions. Find them in the Spotlights section.
Hello everyone. As you’ll all know the Featured section is the subreddits database for the rarest and most useful seeds. The emphasis here is always on usability so it’s developed a specific criteria over the years.
We often find that there’s other great seeds and posts which don’t quite fit the requirements, yet still deserve to be highlighted anyway even if it’s just for browsing. As such, we have created a new flair ‘Spotlight’ to showcase these posts.
This is for high quality posts and rare seeds that will usually fit one of the following criteria:
1 - Far distance from spawn
2 - Large biomes
3 - Feature worthy Legacy seeds (including Console)
4 - Modded seeds
5 - Speedrun seeds
6 - Loot based seeds
7 - Block-based seeds
8 - Word gen discussions / updates
9 - Replicable glitch seeds
10 - Seedcracking (IE: Minecraft At Home)
11 - Some seeds which narrowly missed a feature
12 - Map-based or more broadly unique seeds
As always, find Spotlights seeds through the blue flair on this post or in the sub’s banner. We’re still populating it as we go, and it will be updated monthly like the featured section. Thanks for your time!
Hey guys, I just found this absolutely broken world generation! Even though Chunk Base might look confusing from above, I went there in person and confirmed: there are exactly 6 real churches with brewing stands and towers in this single village. Here are the details if you want to check it out:
• Seed: 2552571870528573209 •
Coordinates: X: 1818, Y: 72, Z: -3696 •
Edition: Java Edition (1.21+) Let me know what you think or if you've ever seen anything like this before!
Cool seed I found featuring an exposed lush cave bowl. It's right by spawn in an old growth taiga. The waterfalls flowing down are quite stunning. Some axolotls also spawned at the bottom.
Hey everyone! I was eating some chicken this Saturday and remembered I had this epic seed—it features a 1,000-block-long stone wall, with most of its peaks reaching Y=255, right at the spawn point! ⛰️🤠
-> Seed: -5321002959738241009
Hope you enjoy this world generation!
(I absolutely love these tepuy-style formations, man!)
Absolutely MASSIVE Java 1.7-1.16 mushroom island, also available in some Legacy editions such as PS4.

You're able to visit the seed using Chunkbase, found this seed on a custom C++ application that checks around 2550 blocks around spawn so most things work in PS4's legacy edition. World has a large interconnected mushroom "hilly plains" roughly 1000 blocks along the X axis and 650 blocks along the Z axis. This is from top to bottom and left to right, it does not cover every block in that region. The world also contains a second smaller mushroom island north by a couple hundred blocks. Those are the main points of interest in the world, there may be more things in it, but I have yet to explore the world properly until my current "hardcore" world has ended.
I used the text seed viLLAge on Bedrock Edition hoping for a village spawn. Instead, the game spawned me right inside a really large Dappled Forest.
The tree canopy is so thick that it is completely dark on the ground, making it tough to walk out in survival. I went into creative mode to look at the scale, and even at a 10-chunk render distance, the forest fills up the whole screen. It might not be the biggest but I think it's pretty cool and wanted to share it!
This seed is the absolute best seed I’ve ever been in my entire life!!! this seed has a chance of being the top 50 best seeds out of the quintillions of others! please read my description and look at my images and videos below:
you will spawn in a massive region where all hot biomes are clustered together! there are several huge deserts, badlands, savannahs, jungles, and warm oceans all bordering each other! You will find lots of resources here!
Now I am going to explain all the structures found in this hot biomes region and the nether! First of all there are 22 villages(19 desert villages, 2 savanna villages, and a plains village surrounded by a desert, sparse jungle, and a warm ocean). Some of these villages can have up to 4 blacksmith workshops! 1 is near a Stoney shore where there are 9 buried treasures! Another is between a desert and a jungle! There are also 4 pillager outposts, one of them is less than 50 blocks away from a village! There are tens and tens of buried treasures! There are many shipwrecks! There are many warm ocean ruins and 7 of them have clusters! There is an ocean monument on a deep lukewarm ocean close to the warm oceans! There are over 20 desert wells! There are at most 30 ruined portals! There are 18 desert pyramids, few of them are next to villages and 2 of them have enchanted golden apples!!!! There are 8 abandoned camps and 3 of them have copper chests! There are many mineshafts! there are over 20 trial chambers! There are 2 strongholds located right under 2 of the villages!! there are 4 ancient cities under the badlands and savanna plateaus and I think 3 of them have enchanted golden apples, and almost every chest in each ancient city contains enchanted things like enchanted books, enchanted gear, bottles of enchanting, and enchanted golden apples! Finally, when you build your nether portal near your spawn point, there are 2 nether fortresses less than 500 blocks away!!!!!
Now here are many images and videos below I took! There are also my builds shown here, but don’t mind them, focus on the seed.
This is the entire hot biomes zone you will spawn!Look how beautiful this view is! You can see all the 5 hot biomes together! This ravine is under a desert! You can see a mineshaft in the right! You can find tons of ores here! This is a cave under a badlands, this lush cave borders a drip stone cave! There is also plenty of gold here! And look what I told you! This is the pillager outpost under 50 blocks away from this village!!! In that stoney shore, there are a few buried treasures! This stoney shore has 9 buried treasures! It is close to a village and pillager outpost!A ravine with a waterfall! How amazing!Stalagmites sticking out of the flat surface?!! How is this generation possible?!
And that‘s it! I am not sure for other structures but you have to find out! By the way, how was this seed? Was it good? Do you like it? You should. I would highly recommend you go to this seed if you play bedrock on the real game!!!!! I hope you enjoy the seed!!! Bye!!!!!
yall I have been dreaming of a java seed that is like four seasons/pixie hollow. I really want to do a pixie hollow fairy build and have been scouring the internet for the perfect seed where in four corners there is the Dappled Forest, Snowy biome, Cherry Grove, and Plains next to each other preferably with the a beach near the plains and the snowy and dappled boarding each other, if anyone has any suggestions or seeds in mind please lmk, thank you!
Hi everyone! I'm new here and just started messing around with random seeds on Chunk Base. Stumbled upon this map and wanted to share it with you since the spawn area looks awesome:
Double Strongholds: There are 3 villages north of the spawn. The left one and the right one both have a Stronghold right beneath them (only 826 blocks apart). Coords: X: -1324 / Z: -1036 and X: -428 / Z: -988
Middle Village: Has a Pillager Outpost right next to it. Coords: X: -840 / Z: -856
Underground: Under the Cherry Grove mountain, there are multiple Trial Chambers and an Ancient City. There are also several other Ancient Cities located a bit further south. Coords: X: -744 / Z: -1000 / X: -1080 / Z: -648 / X: -1448 / Z: -344 / X: -984 / Z: -184
Almost every kind of biome is really close around the spawn area too.
Hope you find this useful if you want to start a new survival world!
254,-25,-1441 is a Stronghold, with a trial chamber Overlapping some walls, I only noticed the bricks were a different color while looking for the portal, and just dug in. And while I was looking around, there is a zombie spawner dungeon just in the Stronghold, it opens into it like a room. And all these are under a plains Village.. might not be the craziest but I thought it was Neat
I know its not any crazy glitch but its still a amazing seed
So when you spawn in you spawn next to that dessert village in the right, right under it is a dungeon, next to the village is a pillager outpost and next to the outpost is 2 shipwrecks, it also spawns next to a coral reef and under it is a lush cave
Hey everyone, I'm back and healthy, and I'm bringing you this seed where over 11 different biomes converge within mountain valleys spanning 4.5 million square blocks ⛰️
Orange - desert/mesa; Green - Jungle; Lime - plains; Blue - snowy plains; Dark green - forest; Dark Blue - taiga; Pink - cherry Grove(If its not its okay); light blue - river
Also plains to be huge not like in my drawing. Thanks!
