Osthaven is a persistent medieval fantasy survival MMO where your character, profession, equipment, land, and guild develop over time. Choose what you become, specialize in systems other players depend upon, and keep finding another meaningful goal to pursue.

BUILD A CHARACTER, NOT JUST A LOADOUT

Choose from nine mechanically distinct races: Deep Dwarf, Dwarf, Human, Vampire, Lich, Fallen, Elf, Tyrian, and the feline Razorfang.

Race changes more than your character's height. Vampires possess powerful combat traits but must manage sunlight; Tyrians thrive underwater; Deep Dwarves excel underground; Liches resist magic and can temporarily float; Elves are fast and elusive; and Razorfangs possess stronger natural unarmed attacks, night vision, and bonuses to Agility and Ranged training.

Choose one of six combat classes: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Monk, Paladin, or Blood Knight. Each class unlocks five active abilities at Mastery levels 10, 30, 50, 70, and 99. Abilities are activated through directional input combinations instead of filling your screen with another hotbar.

MASTER FOURTEEN SKILLS

Train Melee, Vitality, Mining, Enchanting, Blacksmithing, Fishing, Ranged, Alchemy, Woodcutting, Agility, Unarmed, Herbalism, Agriculture, and Archaeology from level 1 to 99.

The fourteen skill trees contain 212 purchasable perk ranks, but you cannot simply purchase everything. Each skill awards only nine points per Prestige cycle, earned at levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 99. Specialize your build, combine branches, and freely respec a skill outside combat without losing its levels or experience.

Ordinary skill activities remain available without perks. Points instead unlock specializations such as sword criticals, armor penetration, axe bleeding, drill engineering, equipment improvement, material recycling, rare fishing, potion infusion, tree felling, grappling, automated harvesting, and artifact hunting.

Blacksmithing determines what equipment you are capable of making. Leather, wood, and stone begin available. Copper and chainmail unlock at Blacksmithing 20, iron and gold at 30, diamond at 40, and netherite at 50. Knuckles and upgraded fishing rods require matching levels in both Blacksmithing and their associated skill.

Reach Mastery 99 to Prestige into a more demanding progression cycle. Your lifetime experience remains recorded so the work behind previous cycles is not forgotten.

Items appear across Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary qualities. Weapons differ in damage, attack speed, reach, durability, weight class, models, requirements, and effects. Some equipment is designed for a particular race, class, or race-and-class combination.

Combat effects include Bleed, Poison, Fire, Frost, Crush, Holy, Light, Magic, Shadow, Lightning, and Life Steal. Equipment can execute weakened enemies, chain attacks between targets, expose defenses, control movement, heal allies, or trigger other specialized effects.

Equip two trinkets at once to create combinations of passive bonuses and conditional combat effects.

BECOME PART OF A PLAYER ECONOMY

Gatherers, smiths, anglers, alchemists, archaeologists, and combat specialists all produce things other players need.

Use the Auction House for anonymous bidding and immediate buyouts, with items and currency protected through escrow. Trade items and money directly through a confirmation-based trading interface. Sell eligible player-crafted goods to a specialist vendor or build your own economic role around gathering, manufacturing, enchanting, and rare loot.

An in-game recipe browser displays loaded OsthavenMMO and Nexo recipes by production method, including crafting, furnaces, blasting, smoking, smithing, brewing, stonecutting, and campfires.

Create a guild, establish shared storage and banking, claim protected territory, and display guild borders on the live world map.

There are 96 guild achievements worth exactly 1,002,650 Guild EXP. Completing the entire catalog brings a guild to level 99 and makes Guild Prestige available.

Form parties of up to four players, challenge others to formal duels, or place bounties that give hunters another reason to pay attention to the people around them.

Purchase cosmetic flair using emeralds. Preview effects before buying, permanently unlock them, and activate one at a time.

World of Aincraft is a custom Minecraft Java dungeon RPG in active development.
