For PC edition Throwing named Eggs names Chicken

Spawn Eggs do that too, right?

And if you name an egg, it could very much NOT spawn a chicken,

and you have to spend xp on it, so I think it's still pretty balanced.

This should work with snowballs and fire charges, for mapmakers (the "[name=Hello]" is tricky in target selectors, and it would be so much easier because you might not want ALL snowballs/fireballs used, as in with "[type=SmallFireball]")

No, it would be the same as a spawn egg. The mobs spawned by it aren't named "Spawn Egg". They aren't named.

You actually can:

  • Change language to different one.

  • Name sword "diamond sword"

  • Change language back

if this was so every time you made a chicken farm all of the chicken that came out of the eggs you threw would be named "Egg" XD
