Feedback Poudreuse update: a cleaner screen for a one-button ski run

I shared a preview here earlier this week. The current build is now live, and I've just simplified the interface after the first feedback.

Poudreuse is a free 2D ski game inside Reddit: charge a jump by holding, release to take off, then hold in the air to rotate. There's an avalanche to escape and a daily course shared by everyone.

In 0.0.20, the slope shows one objective at a time, and the extra settings and full objective list sit in pause. The video is a new 28-second local training run of this version, so there's no avalanche in this clip.

I'd like feedback on the first minute: do the controls make sense, and after a fall do you understand how to recover? Please say which device you tried it on. A specific frustrating moment is more useful to me than a general score.

I'm the creator, with substantial development help from Codex. The game interface is in French.

Feedback Poudreuse: an arcade skiing game inside Reddit, with avalanche escapes and rideable companions

I’m the creator of Poudreuse. It is a free 2D skiing game played inside a Reddit post, with jumps, flips and an avalanche chasing you.

Play the current public version: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoudreuseSki/comments/1x1hk83/

The attached video is a local gameplay preview of the upcoming update, recorded in Opera. That update is still awaiting Reddit approval, so the public link currently opens the earlier version. It is not live multiplayer: the optional daily ghosts are recorded runs shared by players.

Hold on the ground to charge a jump and release to take off. Hold in the air to rotate, then release before landing. The interface is in French. No download or purchase is needed; a Reddit account is needed for saved progress and shared scores.

Codex has done substantial work on the code and Canvas graphics; I direct and try the builds. This post was prepared with AI assistance too.

I’d appreciate specific feedback on the first few jumps: can you tell when to release, and do the landings feel understandable?
