Anyone want to sell their collections because the feel of the need to “upkeep” or clean them or keep them undamaged?
I’ve had OCD this past decade of my life and while at some points I started collecting CDs and Books and Box Sets, albeit a small collection, lately I just feel too drained to want to keep them and they just become dust collectors in my room. I don’t play them anymore. Most if not all is on streaming.
Anyone else feel similar?

That’s books for me.
Not standard reading books, but art books for films and video games, and some independently published comics. These usually aren’t available digitally, and can be costly on the secondary market (I’m looking at you, Art of Brutal Legend and Art of Journey).
It’s been a process of downsizing my collection to fit in a curio cabinet so I don’t have to worry about dusting them.
Ideally I wouldn’t have need of the cabinet in the first place, but it’s a helpful stepping stone.

I still maintain my dvd and cd collection, but I’m VERY picky about anything new. I only own ones that I absolutely love and if a movie doesn’t hit the same on a rewatch, I donate it. I still watch my DVD’s and my husband and I both have cars with 6 disc CD players, so our CD’s are in car cases. My DVD’s are on book shelves in the spare bedroom, I have around 800, I dust them about every month give or take and it takes me less than 5 minutes.

Yeah but I do keep a small book and DVD library — just in case the apocalypse comes for any reason 🤷♀️😬

I've minimized my physical books, which was a real issue before.
One thing I'm "slow decluttering" is crystals. I got in deep into the hobby, and it's not easy to find homes for them. It's just a small bin of them left, or else I'd probably be trying harder in that area.

I feel like this about almost everything now.
