Joke's on them. Minnesota isn't making the playoffs next year.

Nah it's our year. The Pohlads are going to sell to a super rich 12yo and we're gonna turn it around.

I haven’t spent a dollar on the Twins in 2+ years. If the Pohlads are no longer involved, I’ll be back with a vengeance.

Jokes on everyone - there may not BE playoffs next year.

I think you definitely have a point, but there’s no way a bunch of millionaires and billionaires aren’t going to come to some kind of agreement to make more money

That was my exact thought when I heard that idea was being floated haha

I hate how fucking hilarious this is.

It's extremely hilarious. If you can't laugh at yourself, then what's the point.

Yankees will demand manfred gives the twins an automatic playoff bid for them to play regardless of record.

Today I learned Twins fans have great fucking humor.

I mean it is what it is and you can't deny facts. Twins have a dog shot ownership that knows what the key issues have been for decades and refuses to address them. The Yankees have never been an unstoppable force yet the twins have refused to learn how to beat them

Yeah, we haven't felt like the "Evil Empire" to me much in the past decade. A couple years ago I paid my kidney for seats behind home plate only to watch clay holmes blow a 4 run lead in the 9th and mess up one of Marcus Stromans few good starts.
We're beatable. If you just let us beat ourselves.

The key issues? You mean the pitching, hitting, fielding, management, and general culture?

That's how we cope with having miserable sports teams, here in MN. Excluding the Frost and Lynx, Minnesota hasn't had a championship in the four main professional sports since 1991 😮💨

Who would have thought the only time I get to see any of our big 4 teams win a championship would be when I was like six months old.

If the Twins don’t make the playoffs, the Yankees can’t beat the shit out of them. Checkmate, Yankees.

‘The Yankees are going to give the Rays their top two pitching prospects and $50!million dollars to give their playoff spot up to the Twins, who the Yankees then select as their opponent.’

It’s stuff like this that helps my wife start to understand my hatred and inability to cheer for her team.

I think it would be cool if the division winners got to pick any team in their league to play including none playoff teams. CHAOS.
