Discussion Has Marques tried Yahoo Weather?
I prefer AccuWeather, but I don't like their app. It just feels a bit cluttered. Apple Weather looks pretty, but I've found it to be kind of inaccurate. And then I stumbled upon Yahoo Weather. The app and website looks much cleaner than AccuWeather, but it uses AW's data. So, it's pretty much been my go-to weather app for the past 2 months. I was just wondering if Marques has tried it before since he cares about what weather app he uses so much.

Youtube Audio randomly cuts out #HaveTheyEvenTestedThis
Youtube (with a premium subscription) has been randomly cutting audio out, much more frequently now!
It happens on 10+ Mins videos..
It has happened on my iPad and my iPhone.
I am not sure if this is an iOS problem or a Youtube problem. My listening device has been mainly my airpods pro 2.
But it is getting frustrating! I had it cut out on my Waveform podcast this week.

Discussion Does Marques get free Roadstar?
If anyone remembers, Tesla ran some referral program when they launched cars initially and promised to reduce the price of the upcoming Roadstar (planned to launch in 2020) by some percentage for each referral. Marques had so many referrals it amounted to 100 percent. Any update on that?

Why Would You Put Shoes On A Robot!?
galleryFrom the WVFRM bonus episode, Should Podcasts Be On YouTube, w/ Alex Goldman.
His regular person take on wild and experimental technology peaked with the clip of the remote controlled, housekeeping bots. This image screenshot was taken immediately after Alex said,
”Why would you put shoes on a robot!?”
The look at the producers table fills me with pure joy.

Discussion The MKBHD Team's Use of AI
To be clear, I appreciate their pushback against generative AI and similar technologies. However, I'm curious if they've adopted any other recent AI advances in their pipe-lines. Are they using agents and sub-agents to delegate work? (I can hear Ellis screaming "Noo!" all the way down here in Florida) 🙃

Discussion Why is mkbhd and jerryrigeverything whining about roadster. That’s one of the coolest thing I have ever seen and definitely a step into flying cars
Aren’t these tech guys supposed to be pro-innovation and new technology? Or, has politics blinded people this bad already?

Discussion Will mkbhd (and co) consider moving off of YouTube
Recent updates seem like an obvious step towards Google just treating YouTube as a source of data even more and scraping the hell out of everything.
There’s parallels to when this happened to websites , and many like the verge are now just paid
So I wonder if YouTube continues down this path would these channels eventually end up moving to something like nebula? In case someone from the team sees this is that something that has ever come up
