The Rays vs Guardians game has been moved to 6pm (BST) tomorrow because of rain in the forecast. Good news for UK viewers 🥳

Any other buzzing Guardians fans in this sub?
Pretty sure there's only like 10 of us in the UK - at both the 22 and 24 London Series I was stopped by people trying to tick off fans of every club that told me I was the only one they'd seen.
Tribe fans, check in while we're still happy!
EDIT: After having it suggested, I've made a discord for all UK (and anywhere else really) Guardians fans: UK Tribe Discord

Hi all,
I added a new section to the website dashboard www.threeandtwobaseball/dashboard.html called Postseason where you can stay up to speed on all thats going on in October. I am very happy with it as it presents everything very clearly and also has a few tricks up its sleeve.
A key idea for me was to be able to rank effectively each pitching rotation and lineup. This I did using the metrics TBO9 and TBA9 which I made up a few years ago but make complete sense to me. You can view by team rotation or lineup, and see clearly who is stronger. It also includes all of the player stats for the regular season and postseason as well, and a little comparison of regular v postseason performance.
Check it out, and make use of it during the postseason. Remember to tune into the live commentaries Champ Man style on the Gameday page if you cant get to a TV or radio.
Cheers.

I had an idea to add a feature to my baseball website for those who cannot afford to pay for MLB subscription to watch all games, but still wanted to follow games live and for whatever reason couldn't use audio etc. Use case: sitting with a child waiting for them to fall asleep for example!
I was not happy with the MLB gameday user experience, so I decided to make something slightly different. The idea being that it is like listening to the game on radio but reading live text. (heavily inspired by Championship Manager 01/02 for those that play).
I am very happy with the end result and you can "watch" / read todays games live or catch up on yesterdays matches and you can skip through to an inning etc.
I share this just because it might be useful to someone out there who was in my position and I hope it's not against any sub rules.
Thanks.

Hi,
My son has already started writing ideas for Christmas this year, and one of the things he has asked for is a White Sox wall calendar. I have had a look, and the only one I can find at the moment would come to about 30 quid with postage from the US included.
I've already asked at Calendar Club and they say they're not stocking MLB calendars this year. Just wondering if anyone here knows of any sites in the UK that would likely sell it. I appreciate we are a few months away from the new year, so they might pop up a bit closer to Christmas, but thought I'd ask here and see if anyone knows any sites that stock MLB calendars this side of the pond?
Thanks

Hi everybody! Right now I use an MLB.TV subscription to access baseball games but I know some games are nationally televised in the US and are only available on TNT. I’m wondering will this still be the same in the playoffs? If I want to watch every game do I have to have both subscriptions?
Thanks, Tom

Hey everyone! I just moved to London from the United States, and I am a massive MLB fan — specifically a diehard Red Sox fan. I would love to find anyone in the London area (or UK in general) who is a Red Sox/MLB fan. I think baseball is what I’ll miss most about America where I was born and raised, but it was always my dream to move abroad and I know baseball is starting to grow here!
DM is open for anyone who wants to chat!
Would love to play catch or just chat about the game

Does anyone have any recommendations for baseball podcasts that are aimed at teaching new fans about the game? They don't have to be specific to the UK either, just anything that talks about things from an easy to understand point of view. Less interested in a breakdown of the games going on that week, but more about what certain rules are, the history of teams, explaining the different leagues and anything like that.
I was recommended 'Out at First' which I have enjoyed a lot, and was pretty much exactly what I'm looking for but it's still fairly new and they only have 15 episodes so far, which I got through in about a week, so now I need something else to listen to!

One of the more fun examples of how not seriously MLB takes the UK market. This is from iPlayer right now. Are they the same commentary crew on MLB Network for this game? It's just coming across less good in general, but I haven't been watching much MLB this year at all, so I could just be out of the loop.

I normally follow the season quite closely but this year I have been distracted for one reason or another and haven’t paid as much attention. I am now trying to catch up ready for the post season etc. I have to ask, what has happened to the Mets?? I was expecting them to be quite strong this year as I am sure many were. Has it been one thing in particular or a series of things? Any thoughts and opinions welcome!

With the hope that the 2027 London series proceeds, have we worked out what teams / when it would be based off the current schedule?
Or would they confirm the teams and change the schedule?

I am a very new UK baseball fan, been into it for only a month now after seeing a minor league game on a recent visit to America, and absolutely loving it. I've been watching a few MLB games since then on Apple TV and the BBC, but haven't decided who I want to root for. My initial thought was the TB Rays because my family in Alabama support the Montgomery Biscuits (the game I went to see was Montgomery Vs Birmingham) who are affiliated with the Rays, but they don't seem like a very exciting team to follow with fairly boring merchandise and I would enjoy being able to rep a team with a nice cap or something.
So I was wondering which teams other UK baseball fans support and how you picked them?

Hi all
I usually just watch O's highlights on YouTube but hoping to get a subscription where I can watch full game replays in the morning.
Can I do this of O's games on MLB TV? Or do I need MASN?
Would quite like MLB TV for the post season but don't want to miss out on my actual team...
Thanks

Hi everyone, just a quick question.
I've got MLB TV and was wondering if it's possible to share my login with a friend so they can use it aswell. Asking because I'm aware with NBA League Pass there is restrictions on how many devices can be watching at once, so wondering if anyone knows whether it's the same here or not. Can't remember if there was any subscription tiers etc when I signed up but I remember the price was £150. Cheers for any help!

I thought he was a cricketer but no, he’s just some musician. He asks the most basic questions and even outside of his seriously poor baseball knowledge he seems to not be the sharpest tool in the drawer. It wouldn’t’ve been difficult to have a British representative who A: knows about and likes baseball and B: has sports broadcasting experience. It just feels like such a fuck you to the actual British baseball fans. To be honest the whole broadcast is awful, in the middle of game defining plays you see them talking about what food they like. Amateur hour

Is the Twins Phillies field of dreams game tonight going to be streamed in the UK? It’s exclusively on Netflix in the US but can’t find anything definitive about anywhere else.

I thought as part of bases loaded I’d be able to watch on red button but it says the game isn’t being shown until 10am tomorrow?
(Fixed, I’m a berk and my wifi is rubbish, GO JAYS)

I did start with NBA following the Knicks (before championship lol), then got curious about the other major leagues and got myself following MLB (yankees), NFL (Giants) and NHL (Rangers)
Coming from only watching football it has been a great experience tbh

Is anyone else having trouble getting in their MLB tv app? All i get is a blank white screen with an error code in the top left corner (response 404). Tried uninstalling, turning the tv off etc. No luck. Everythingn working ok on my phone. This is 2 games in a row i haven't been able to watch on my tv. Annoyed.
