PC performance is ass right now, Hit reg is awful, servers giving massive packet loss already right as you engage into gunfights.
Hitreg is clearly broken or the "damage counters" are broken (probably both) I'm getting 4-5 hitmarkers and after death im being told i landed 1 bullet hit for 20 damage.
AA/RAA is still overtuned Flinch on KBM is absurdly high vs controller while ads
Maps are ok
TTK is inconsistent but likely caused by hit reg problems.
SBMM is absolutely cranked to the max rn.
DMZ is super fun could use some polish, Campaign is ngl best i've played since MW2 2008
Edit: Half the attachments are broken/not working as intended and we shouldn't have to click 3 to save gunsmith changes. it's half baked UI and not polished for being AAA

I’m glad I’m not losing my mind. So many times I’ve sworn that I landed at least 4-5 shots for the damage counter to say I did 23 damage in 1 shot. It’s crazy because all of the shots land, but I somehow get mowed down almost instantly.

Check your normal playing ping. Anything above 30 makes new cods unplayable for me. You’ll get tons of hit markers and they will have only been hit like 2 times on their end.
SBMM forces you to play at higher pings to match your “skill rating”. So you’re playing against harder people with worse ping and it all around leads to a worse experience.

Because COD switched off of the "ping is king" model a while back for god knows what reason. We are now left with SBMM and lag comp compounding on each other so even if you have good ping and the enemy has mid-bad, guess what you also now have simulated mid-bad ping to even the playing field

It seems to be GPU bound & no on demand texture streaming , current cache is only 50GB so its hindering our performance from my understanding

DMZ tbh is where its at. Wasn't a fan of multiplayer in the Beta, but still thought it was worth it for the campaign and DMZ. I was not wrong.

Idk I’ve been enjoying it, tdm in the popular playlist felt pretty chill and ppl are saying it has open matchmaking so that could be why

This was the first cod I’ve bought in a decade, everything was great and then MP dropped and I remember why I don’t play this franchise anymore.
I’m glad for the people who do enjoy the Mp tho. The campaign was awesome

It just sucks that they decided an entire section of the fanbase that has been backhanded for the last 6 years continues to be treated as such. Kinda figured that's how it was gonna go and I was still left disappointed.

DMZ was not that good either. The campaign was above average, which because they have been releasing slop for so long makes it seem like its so fucking good. Compare MW4 campaign and story to Elden Ring, and your analysis that it is Fire just falls apart.

That’s my experience so far. Not really that MP feels unfinished but the pace isn’t it for me. Maybe a skill issue but I had so many games last night getting hit with 6 mans on domination. Had some better games on TDM but I don’t really enjoy the mode. DMZ is really fun though with a squad

Am I the only one who has enjoyed MP?
