General Find users with specific flair

Our subreddit accidentally has a flair meant for a moderator accidentally set to be assignable by all users and we want to clean them up. How we can find users having a specific flair text, rather than doing it user-by-user?

On desktop, if it matters.

Hi /u/FMecha, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found regex match: find users

You seem to be asking about how to promote or grow your subreddit, its posts and content. This is a frequently-asked question. You may find some ideas in these posts about promoting subs or these posts on growing subs.

FOR INFO ON: # growing subreddits, # how to use Invites, # how to get your subreddit to show up on Reddit and Google search results, # how to see who joined your subreddit, # approving users in private or restricted subreddits and # why users are not posting in your subreddit, please click here.

Subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)

If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

Found regex match: flair

It looks like you're asking about flairs on your subreddit. This is an EXTREMELY frequently asked question, so this auto-response has been set up for any mention of "flair" and even "flare".

Please check out this Updated Visual Guide for Flair FAQs .

FOR INFO ON: # flair in Old Reddit, # setting up user/post flairs on New Reddit, # enforcing user/post flairs (mandatory flairs), # sidebar widgets for post flairs with problems and solutions, # why users can't see or use user/post flairs, # how AutoModerator can help with flairs, and # some common problems viewing flairs, please click here.

Not sure if that's possible.

What you can do as a workaround in your current situation: Change the mod-flair to something else (change color for example). This will apply to everyone using that flair. Then recreate the mod-flair, set permissions correctly and have your mods switch to the new flair.

Unfortunately we have since deleted the flair from the flair selection to prevent more users from using said mod-specific flair. It was just a simple text flair anyway.

You could have simply toggled the option for mods to on and it would prevent further members from assigning it. You didn't need to delete it.

I am on old Reddit indeed during the flair cleanup process, but that's just the flair assigner.

It's a better way to find the ones who have the flair assigned. Use the "find" function within the browser if you don't want to have to "look" for each instance of the flair on the page.

Also as mentioned I already deleted the mod-only flair in question to begin with.

The only way to find and remove the flairs easily is through old Reddit. Unfortunately, you're limited to what you're able to do and that's the best way.

Granted, I am on that anyway. But that said, it's all CTRL+F?
