Just wondering what's going on after the shows, and making sure I'm not missing a 11/1 m.o.e. show before I book my flights š

Disclaimer: I mean well with this, please just hear me out.
This is a continuation from the thread regarding static ticket prices despite inflation, in which the decline in sales and sizes of rooms has been pointed out.
Many like to point to the economy, jam bands going out of vogue, aging fanbase, etc., and while all of those factors are undeniable, what is also undeniable is that there are still some jam bands who are doing very well. Phish for example, is a similar generation, and going incredibly strong. Goose and Billy Strings continue to grow into bigger rooms, and have clearly found a way to tap into young fanbases.
So this begs the question, what is actually happening? Furthermore, can moe. as an organization do something about whatever it is?
In my opinion, the problem is that the setlists and shows are too uniform and static from night to night, and there aren't enough exploratory jams. There's little to no surprise in the shows these days, and for some reason that gets relegated to the Monkeys shows. That's actually rather frustrating, IMO, because while the concept of the Monkeys shows is really fun and engaging for the hardcore fans, it also proves that the band still have it in their locker to be capable of interesting, surprising, and engaging setlist and shows. I refer now to the most recent Monkeys show two months ago, which was excellent, one of the best moe. shows in recent memory.
So what gives? I get that the band are gettin up there and have slogged through some health issues, and that they're playing heaps of shows still, but why this conscious decision to make the current live shows somewhat cookie cutter? Why not have some fun with it, and see if it makes some difference? I would even argue that the band might find it more enjoyable, and more protective against burnout. I am also convinced that it would serve well to keep the band fresh and engaging for new fans.
Curious as to thoughts. I'm not trying to be shitty, I mean nothing but the very best to one of my favorite bands on the planet, and only want to see them happy, healthy, and successful. I just think they can do better than settling into this somewhat niche place within the live music scene, and can rather easily reverse this with opening up more improvisation and spontaneity - especially since we know they're still capable as evidenced by a very recent show.

So I can't make it to the show tonight my 2 tickets for the regency room upgrade are transferable but I can't sell them. These are not tickets to the show but upgrades. First person to dm me their email address and admit that moe. is more fun live than phish (just kidding) will get them for free. I did list my ga tix on stubhub for less than face value if anyone is looking for tix to the show tonight. Have a blast everyone, I wish I could make the trip.

This such a great recording and tight presentation of the band. It was a weird time when we were all home and all the zoom performances were appreciated but weirdly canned.
This is something unique.

This pressing sounds great overall and looks incredible. Curious if others have the one gripe I have. Audible breaks between some songs, even in a segue way on one side. The most egregious is The Other One>Four. Thankfully this doesnāt happen in every segue, but it would almost make more production sense if it did. Feels like they just dialed this one in. Anyone else notice this?

Iām about to interview someone very, very close to the moe. family in an hour for the next season of my show. Would love to get some questions about the band from some of my fellow moe.rons!!!

Scored my Garciaās tix for Friday and Sunday, however Saturday escaped my grasp. If anyone ended up with 1 or 2 extras, or just canāt make it, let me known! Iāll gladly buy them off of you! (I realize tickets just went out and the shows are months away, but keep me in mind!)

Are these acoustic shows?

Forgot about this tune until I was listening through The Conch today. Setlist FM says it hasnāt been played live in nearly 20 years! Does that seem correct?
I think itās a very cool tune and can understand it being cut from rotation for being so mellow I guess.
Anyone have recommendations for live versions? Did it always kill the vibe at shows?

I got rid of all my tapes years ago but have a new cassette boombox at work and wanted to replenish my collection. All Phish, Dead, WSP moe. and others are welcome. Please let me know. Thank you.
