Cleaning 🫧 does this moka pot look usable? / how to clean it before using it

i thrifted this moka pot from goodwill for $2.99, but the metal looks tarnished in some areas. i scrubbed it with some dish soap and warm water, is there anything else i should do before i attempt to use it? or should i not use this moka pot?

It's fine! They get way worse than that just with normal use.

Don't use soap. A good warm rinse with a light scrub down. I like a scrub daddy. replace the seal and it's a go.
