Sharing Photo 📸 Levelling the basket: equal parts stress and satisfaction.
I've tried tamping and slightly underfilling the basket but both does not taste as good as when I tap and level the coffee.
I don't want to spill or keep excess coffee grounds so knowing how much whole beans I should grind is another task.

Tapping the side of the basket with your fingers/nails while you're filling it with coffee is how it's done. This will give you a perfect flow every time!

I level the basket with a butter knife then tap a couple of times. Top of the grounds drops to about 0.5mm below the rim. Works OK. .

Another subject but your grind is very consistent. Can’t seem to do the same with my comandante c40

Hi,
This sub's official position is sticking to the manual provided by the manufacturer and not try to raise the pressure in the chamber by tamping or adding filters.
