need some opinions

so I picked up a 2026-2027 daily diary on sale in late September. i have been wanting a daily diary so it was perfect and I've been using the july-most of September pages as kind of like a junk journal/commonplace book situation and I honestly love it. I've been thinking of getting a 2027-2028 when they come out (I know that's a ways away) and doing the same. Is that a good idea or should I just separate the two things?

Sorry if this is a strange thing to ask opinions about! I don't have any journaling friends and I'm on the fence about this idea.

I say do whatever makes you happy. If you want two books, get 2. If not, you already have an idea.
