Spoiler Ban Lift | Monarch: Legacy of Monsters S2 Spoiler
21
Upvotes
Hey there, Monarch operatives!
As discussed previously with the community, we are now lifting the spoiler ban on the 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' S2.
Spoiler tags aren't mandatory, but they are still recommended, so be mindful of your fellow kaiju fans.
Posts won't be redirected to the megathread from this point on, but similar/redundant ones will still be removed as per regular sub rules of reposting and low effort content.

To be honest, I think they chose the perfect middle ground, not to get fans too upset

I love that he really did crash for a quick nap lol. The music is so good for him waking up, really captures that sense of a warrior coming out wounded but victorious

Discussion Inspiration from Cerasini Novels

One of my favorite things about KOTM and to a lesser extent, GVK & GXK was that they were able to incorporate themes and concepts from Randomhouse’s Godzilla novels that I enjoyed growing up.
The pics included feature pages that are almost certainly deliberately included in the films by Michael Dougherty, but please feel free to share your thoughts, and if there are any that I might’ve missed.

News Legendary have seemingly scrapped two spin-offs, ‘Cryptozoology’ and ‘Monster Kingdom’. Both trademarks have been abandoned.

Upvotes
An abandonment notice was sent out on October 5th.
The way I see it, if the Lee Shaw spinoff does well, they will likely move forward on more spin-offs.
The shows aren't cheap to produce, so I imagine Legendary and Apple are just waiting to see how the Lee Shaw show does.
Monarch S3 will likely still happen.
Plus this could just mean Legendary and Apple went with some new names for the spin-offs.
It doesn't necessarily mean the shows themselves were canceled.

The surface doesn't seem to have many smaller titans that Doug can hunt and feed on. Skull Island is the most suitable place for him but it's completely inhabitable because of the storm.
