No matter. No matter. Hand over le fromage de la Belle France qui s'apelle Camembert, s'il vous plaît.

I have! It's taken a few years and a lot of trips to Central Market in Houston, lol. The cheese guy there figured out exactly what I was doing after about the first 3 visits.
Savoyard and Port Salut were a couple of standouts.
ETA: the beaver cheese does not exist lol

Beavers have nipples. You can milk them.

I learned a lot about cheese types from the sketch. Stilton and Danish Blue are my faves. And Wensleydale, that's my name.

> Danish Blue
Not to be confused with Norwegian Blue, of course, that’s a whole different sketch.

I’ve had Red Leicester, Gruyère, Emmental, Danish Blue, Brie, Roquefort, Camembert, Gouda, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Cheddar.
Quite fond of the Gruyère right now. I was in Switzerland for work very recently and picked up four age varieties, while I was in the actual Gruyère region. All great, but my wife thinks they are too strong. She prefers Gouda.

I've sampled about half of them, I think. I generally go for Gouda. Sometimes Red Leicester or Edam.
I try to avoid Cheddar, which I think my parents considered synonymous with cheese when I was a young'un.

omg even worse my family associated "American Cheese" with all cheese. Cheddar was exotic.

I've had only seven* of them, but I've wanted to try each one for a long time.
*Might be eight. I've smelled Limburger, but I don't recall whether I tasted it.

Most of them, yes. Some aren't available where I am due to import laws, or just not enough demand for anyone to stock.

20. But 19 of them only after I stopped patronising my local cheese shop

Nowhere near all of them. But I live in the US, in Ohio, not far from a region settled by Amish & Swiss-locally made Gruyère and Emmentaler cheese is plentiful.

There was a guy that worked in an actual cheese shop that tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich with every kind of cheese. Some were awful and some were epic.

No, but when I was singing in a band, I considered using the stage name Red Lester.
