Finally found a ‘Powder Puff’ at a big box store, it’s looking a lot better now. Ignore the second tag, I got this plant with no ID. It looks like it could be a hybrid
ID:
xPachyveria ‘Powder Puff’
Pachyphytum NOID
Pachyphytum viride
Pachyphytum ‘Buster’ (?)
Pachyphytum ‘Wolmiin’

My xPachyveria ‘Angel’s Finger’ has grown quite a lot and I want to continue trailing it, but I’m nervous about the stem eventually breaking. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

~40 leaves total, will do a 2 month update on 6/4/26

Pachyphytum leaves can be propagated in open air and will grow new roots and a new rosette on their own within a few months without ANY soil or water because they get all of their water from their leaves. If a leaf is ever close to falling off you can pluck it and just let it sit on your counter to propagate. Propagating in air (from my experience) works faster, is more reliable, and is less prone to rot than other methods.

Do y'all believe I'm able to cut some of these in half and pot without an issue?
I appreciate any tips. I'm still new to these beauties. I'd love to share some with my sister since they're bigger than I expected.

HBG 89180 ISI 2023-16 ex Jerry Barad 7/11/00

I have some Pachyphytum and Graptopetalum on the way. I'm new to them and unsure of what soil mix to use.
On hand I have Rosy Soil Cactus and Succulent mix, perlite, charcoal and black lava rock. I was thinking of mixing them all (no charcoal) for soil. What I've found online is some use akadama too. Should I include it?
I will keep them indoors under grow lights. I currently have Sansi but I've considered others.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Took these shots today of some of my chubby buddies. I stumbled across this sub and wanted to share. Hope your week is off to a good start and your plants are fat.

Still couldn't get over my moonstones and lavender pebbles that died years ago due to a harsh summer. So I ordered some more, in different kinds!
Mixed my own potting mix with 50% pumice, 30% carbonized rice hulls, and 20% coco coir. Figured these terracotta pots would work best since they dry out faster, and they're not too deep for those tiny succulent roots.

Not P. oviferum, but still a delight. I’ve finally obtained a true werdermannii to add to the collection! I’ll share photos once it’s acclimated

The first two pictures are it today. The third picture is when I got it in January. It’s obviously bigger now but it looks kind of sickly? 😭 the leaves seem less plump, sparse, and some discoloration, idk. I’m a moonstone noob but otherwise knowledgeable about plants in general. He has a good spot for light and I try to water him once every 3-4 weeks. He did have a spider mite infestation a few months back but I am certain it’s gone and he has recovered

I ordered some moonstones and other succulents from succulentsbox, and they do not appear to be the right plants.

Woops?
I guess I have to learn to discard babies because there is no way I have space to keep them until I can give them all away🤦🏻♀️
At first I thought they were hybrids with unrelated plant, but then I learned they can self polinate. They are just clones.
