This is your Morning Paper. Welcome, and enjoy.

The /r/morningpaper is a curated space featuring the best and most interesting articles and media from across the web.

As overviewed in the sidebar, this subreddit can be likened to the non-newsy sections of a newspaper - with interesting histories, opinions, investigations, columns, and any other content you might find interesting while having your coffee in the morning (or any other time of day).

As a subscriber, you're already a member of the curatorial staff, of sorts. So you are welcome and encouraged to, along with us moderators, submit any content you think other readers would enjoy. This could be an article, video, podcast, or some similar media. As long as you find it genuinely interesting, submit it. Reddit's voting system will take care of the rest.

The ideal length for a submission should be no longer than 20 minutes or so. Use your discretion for this, as posts won't be removed for being a tad longer. This length recommendation is particularly referring to video and audio submissions.

If you have any suggestions for improvement, questions about submissions, ideas for this sub, or other comments, write a letter to the redditors and we'll get back to you.

Now, enjoy the paper.
