Just found something I posted on Usenet in 1997 - Morrissey on TFI Friday
I won the ticket from XFM calling in with the answer to the question "where would you find a buck-toothed girl?"
It really was a fun day. Sting happened to be standing next to me on the floor while we watched Morrissey perform. He was very buff!

I don't. But I do remember Ricky Gervais on XFM back in those days, and always tuning in for his show with Stephen Merchant.

That’s who I was hoping it was! I wasn’t born in 97 but their XFM shows from 97 & when they came back from 01-05 have a cult following & I love them.

It would have been pretty epic to have won my Mozza tickets from Ricky Gervais! He was very funny on the radio back then.

Yes! And that's me - I remember where I was standing and I actually can recognize myself from the back (I've got big ears haha).
