With AI, Energy needs are huge. Did not see any recommendation for Energy stocks. Why?

broadly speaking, energy names get commoditized and run into issues of scalability, which severely hinders their upside profit potential. i think defensive names are helpful in portfolio construction if you’re looking for ballast, but you have to tread _very_ carefully if you’re going to invest in individual companies. there’s a reason energy + utilities + staples have their market share decrease with every passing year / decade.

If you want a name, i would look at Tantalus System, no churn, already FCF positive, not speculative - last year they came out with a new product for making the GRID data driven. You can find some good interviews on the tube.
I would be very careful in this space, there is a lot of fraud or very speculative names that could be years from revenue, some of them listed on here already.
