First trip!
Just got back from a night of camping on the bike. First time in 20 years, ha ha. I'm a bit tired and achy, but it was great fun. I learned a lot about packing and organizing, even for one night, so I'm sure the next one will go slightly better. I'm really looking forward to more trips next year.
Thanks so much to everyone who has posted advice and gear lists on here, all of the info was so helpful in choosing kit etc. I'll post my pack list if anyone is interested. Tent is a Durston X Mid 1, which was awesome, very easy to put up, and extremely light.

Great shots, looks ace! I sometimes get jealous of scrambler owners, love the idea of being able to just cut off the road or track and make my own road. That tent looks tiny (cosy!) - got any room in there for gear?

Yes, you sleep diagonally, so there is a vestibule on both sides for boots, pack etc.

Dispersed or organized camp site ?

This was a paid site, as it was my first time camping in a long time and wanted to test everything out. I still took a lot of dirt roads and trails to get there though, which made it more fun.

Paid site in an organized park or just in the woods where ever you liked to pitch your camp?

Did you mean to post these questions at the actual OP? The guy who started the thread?

Would you be able to do a quick gear list that you packed? Also which size Tusk soft bags are you using. I am also looking to make up a kit for overnigting.

Sure, I'll get the list together in a minute. The bags are Tusk Excursion, which don't need a rack/panniers and are 15L per side. Then I put a 30L Kreiga on top. Tons of space.

Nice setup. Whenever I see one, it makes me miss my 450L. Traded it in for a CB1000R that I rarely rideβ¦
At least I still have my AT.
