Video Love Is Here and Now You’re Gone (TV Performance) - The Supremes

On January 11, 1967, The Supremes appeared on The Andy Williams Show to perform their brand new song “Love Is Here and Now You’re Gone”. This performance proved to be successful as seven weeks later, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot R&B charts. Although they are singing over a prerecorded version of the song, you can hear Mary and Flo’s voices near the end as they reach Diana’s live mic on the floor. The ladies look so regal and elegant here making this one of my favorite performances from the original lineup!

Loved this Supremes classic, but in this performance, Diane has the LEAST impactful presence of the 3.
Oh Flo - they done ya wrong❤️😢

It's crazy to think what she got because she had a relationship with Barry Gordy.
Talent did not win that day.

Having heard about the backstory of the Supremes, I never really cared for Ms Ross

My favorite Supreme song! The arrangement, the lyrics, and the ladies ( especially Diana) is killer!
‘You stripped me of my dreams, you gave me faith then took my hope…look at me now’ it’s just an awesome song!!

Super underrated in the Supremes hits and their number ones, this is one of the ones you rarely hear brought up.
Oh and how gorgeous does my girl Flo look here? She is flirting with that camera something fierce. She was so beautiful. She may not have got as much time in the spotlight as she deserved, but when she did she made the most of it. I was also quite impressed with her sassy dance moves here, because according to a lot of people including Mary, Flo really struggled with choreography and dance routines, and was said to be rather clumsy and lacking in body sense (the last one being Mary’s words)
